CHAPTER 90 Break-Up

"If I had to choose between being chained in the guilt of my past or a filial duty with my wife imposed by my Grandpa's death wish, I'd choose my wife, without a doubt."

  Johann's POV

I wanted to make this break-up as dramatic as I could, but if it's Sandra we are talking about, it would be difficult.

She was too stubborn to even stop and listen for a second. She insisted on babbling things that I'm no longer interested in, "You know what, we actually don't need to have a grand wedding, if that's what you want. We can just hold a civil wedding. I just want to marry you, you know that right?"

She was holding her tears and biting her lower lip, a thing she does when she's frustrated or confused.

"That's not what I want," I answered her.

"Then, maybe, we don't have to get married soon, just a proposal is enough, just tell me you will marry me, come on, Johann, you love me right?" she asked. She reached for my hand and held it so tight.
