CHAPTER 39 Date Night

　　Annie

　　"Wow! You look amazing!" Mike exclaimed.

　　"Really? I don't look weird?" I said shyly.

　　It was Friday night, so I was here with Mike on our date.

　　"Not at all! You are beautiful. Let's go, we don't want to be late," Mike said and led me to the car.

　　"I didn't know you had a car. It's nice," I smiled.

　　"I borrowed it from my brother. He is off to college and didn't need it for a while, so he said I could use it whenever," Mike said.

　　As I sat down in the car, I thought about Evan. I fell asleep during the movie and he was already gone by the time I woke up in the morning. Good thing he did because my mom was supposed to come back home in the morning!

　　"Where are we going?" I asked Mike. I guess I should've asked this earlier.

　　"We are going to grab some dinner, then we can do whatever you want afterward," he said. "Maybe go to the movies?"

　　I nodded then we were off to dinner.
