Reincarnating in Naruto was less than an ideal condition. Being an orphan was a major setback. And not being able to use chakra, that was fatal.

I was not someone who could work restlessly like Guy and Lee, nor was I interested in putting my life at risk for making money. I could as well become a shopkeeper and become rich with all the knowledge of the modern world I had, but I was sure to die if a rock fell on me.

So I looked at the lonely blonde boy with whiskers, and then at myself being mocked by other little shits for not being able to use chakra. 

So I decided. Naruto needs a friend, and I need a savior. I will make my Naruto the strongest, and I will support him throughout his life in return of protecting me. 

I will corrupt him be not being able to live without me.

If I have to compare fuinjutsu with the real world, I think it will be software.

And, software can't work without a hardware.

The most convenient example is a jinchuriki.

For Naruto, Naruto is the hardware, and the Eight Triagram seal is the software.

Eight Triagram seal is one of the pinnacle of fuinjutsu. If I didn't have the knowledge from my past life, I would have never guessed that it is made by combining two Four Symbol Seals together.

So, Naruto's seal is a top-notch software of sorts.

Why did Father-in-law split Kurama in half before sealing the Yang half in Naruto?

Because Naruto was a newborn baby. The 'hardware' wasn't capable of running the software smoothly.

Moreover, by splitting Kurama in half, and providing a more comfortable sealed space for Kurama, he also made sure that Naruto will have less trouble keeping Kurama sealed and would have more freedom than Mother-in-law.

Still, just keeping half Kurama sealed by a much more powerful and efficient seal takes 99% of Naruto's chakra.

Naruto operates on 1% of his chakra, which is still immense because of being an Uzumaki, Kurama's chakra slowly seeping through into his chakra network, and being the reincarnation of Asura.

Anyway, not everyone can become Kurama's jinchuriki. Even Mother-in-law, a full Uzumaki with a special chakra even amongst the Uzumaki clan had a hard time if we go by the one-shot.

Naruto has a mich easier time because his own chakra, Asura's chakra is perhaps even better than Mother-in-law's in suppressing Kurama's chakra, despite not having Adamantium Chains.

Anyway, what if, instead of Naruto to have to maintain the seal, Kurama would have to do it? What if Kurama himself became the hardware for sustaining the software?

That wouldn't work. Because, chakra is largely affected by will. Kurama's chakra can heal if he wants to, and kill if he wants to.

If the seal is powered by his own chakra, he will easily break out. Even if he doesn't know how to, the seal itself will be very weak because the chakra not wanting to contain the source. And then Kurama will be able to brute force through it.

But, Nue is a lot different than Kurama.

It has mostly Naruto's chakra, and has been obediently powering the barrier seals for sniffing out negative emotions through its Dark Release.

The problem is that, such a seal which uses the chakra of the sealed creature, will ultimately lead to the creature dying due to chakra exhaustion.

But, Nue will be able to absorb chakra. And I don't really intend to keep it imprisoned in me. I will become it's perfect Jinchuriki.

But I need to be able to handle being the Jinchuriki first. So this seal will be necessary for me to adapt to the chakra.

Tsunade will be arriving soon, so I will finally be able to use chakra.

And this Source Reversal Seal will be perfect for sealing away many things and actually killing them as they continue to be trapped for a long time.

Oh. Isn't what I am trying to create a sealing like Veldora's Prison?

Now that I had an inspiration, I started working on the seal.
