He seemed like the strict type of teacher, in the novel I remember that he was pretty nice one on one but he was strict when the class was together. I also remembered that he was battle addict that only retired from fighting the demon army because his fiancé did. He went and took role with no one being absent or late, He smiled as he started to speak.
"Seems like everyone is here today, Even if its the first day of school today we will being a little activity." The mood in the class fell into a endless pit at these words.
"Oh don't be sad its not graded and if you win you can get a prize but it a surprise!"
I knew exactly what prize is and its a skill book for a skill that I was going to want under my belt. In the original novel one of the main cast named Kent got the skill in the novel but he didn't do the skill justice like he could have and I'm not going to let some stupid mage get a skill that should be used for swordsmen. I tuned back in just in time to hear the actual instructions of the activity.
"The game we are going to be playing is called catch a god in this game there will be a designated god and you all will be fighting against that person and spoiler alert that person will be me. The person with the has the most hits within 30 minutes on me will win the secret prize and don't worry I will lower my rank to around E-rank and will only use one skill to make it fair."
He abruptly walked out and seemed to beckon all of us with a hand, I was the only one who got up and followed him. He looked behind him to see only me and walked back into the class room to scream at the other kids.

The whole class found ourselves in a forest he took us through one of the many portals in the portal room that was very impressive though we couldn't access most of portals due to no clearance.
He gave us bracelets that would protect us if we took any lethal damage and would protect us if Thorn went overboard. They also counted how many times we hit him with points. He had a skin tight holo-shield that would react to it.
The forest was vast with very very tall trees and the place clearly looked artificial and manmade they must have used a skill or spell to make this place. It looked like someone had fed a forest steroids because the trees would give some skyscrapers a run for their money in terms of height.
The other kids looked excited to try beat up their new teacher but I was going to be the one that gets the skill.
Mr. Thorn pulled out a rack of weapons out his spatial ring, the selection was vast i even saw a halberd and various other weapons. He looked at us as if we were idiots until he said "Choose a weapon do you guys not think?"
That got all of the students out their stupor and walking to choose weapon. I picked a simple short sword and that was the same with a lot of other students but I saw some exotic choices like a scythe and tonfas.
I saw the protagonist of the world Orion pick several melee weapons and saw them disappear to something that looked like a spatial storage skill, although It was something to do with his stigma. He had the face of a supermodel who thought this was waste of time, damn I envy his looks.
Arina seemed to pick a long bow along with a dagger she looked content with what she had. I noticed a boy with sky blue hair and emerald eyes and recognized him as one of the main cast named Kent Windturner had a staff in this hand and he donned a excited expression while smiling. He was the greatest mage of all time at the end of the novel but was still slightly weaker than end game Orion.
Something I didn't expect was that the girl from the train station was here and she was holding nothing but papers with weird markings on them. I didn't learn her name during role because I tuned that out for the most part. For someone who was so fiery she was absurdly looked quiet and calm.
When everyone was finished picking weapons Thorn sat there looking at us like we were idiots again and at this point I think we all knew what was going to happen so I enhanced my body with mana and sonar then dashed at him and swung my blade with the force.
My blade sung in the air as it met the spear my professor seemed to manifest out of no where. He smiled as he thrusted his spear at me but I slid to side and tried to attempt another at another swipe at his chest but the damn spearman parried my attack and landed a kick on chest that sent me back a couple feet.
I could feel the gazes of the other students and for some reason the same thing that happened at the portal station started to happen again this feeling it wasn't bad but it felt good, really good. It was addicting and I wanted more of it, i was going to get more of it. If fighting makes me feel it I'm going to keep fighting!
He smiled at me and turned to the students watching and began to speak "Atta boy! In a real battle your enemy will not wa-"
I cut him off with an quick thrust and i raised my sword over my head with both arms performed one of movements of my sword art "First movement: Division" I brought the sword down with sonar and mana powering it. Mr. Thorn would have been able to easily block or avoid it if I didn't catch him by surprise but it was too late now. A blue line appeared on the S-ranker's torso and my bracelet sound a ding and popped out a holograph.

I smiled right before I felt the side of a spear hit my temple with immense force and was sent flying crashing into a tree. Damn that hurt I swear for a split second I saw birds flying around my head as I watched three new students enter the fray. A girl with gauntlets slammed her fists into the shaft of Thorn's spear and another girl swung a huge ball and chain along with a muscle head with a huge great ax swung down on the teachers side to be dodged by its target.
The intoxicating feeling started to fade, I couldn't even try to get back up to fight to keep the feeling going but I will eventually be able to feel it again. I think I might be a junkie for this thing i couldn't think about that as i watched the spectacle in front of me.
It seemed that was enough for everyone else to start attacking with me as multiple skills and spells flew through the air trying to hit the professor. The professor started running away at speeds most of us couldn't comprehend and just like that he was gone.
This was for sure going to be an annoying activity and my head was still thumping from that last hit i think he let a little more power out than he expected. I figured i might as well stay here until he comes back but while I'm here I need to set up the ultimate team aka the main cast. though it might be easier than expected because I already saw a blonde haired boy walking up to me.
