Forest[1]

Orion was glancing at the boy who took initiative during the first test or activity of the year. Orion was very interested in him due to what was appearing when he used his skill. He was drawn to the boy due to his initiative but this had only boosted his interest as something beyond just interesting. His skill [King's eye (A)] which was used for providing information about anything within his vision but his skill couldn't assess the boy and couldn't even tell him the name of the person in question. It only provided jumbled up symbols.

Orion was bored upon entering the academy he believed during his days here nothing would truly challenge him but this spectacle emerged. He would be sure to duel this person soon but trying to see his abilities on a team with him would suffice for now.

He walked over to the black haired boy who had his back on a tree and gave him a smile while extending a hand and started to speak

"I'm Orion, that instructor is too strong for us it would be better to work together." the handsome young man extended his hand as he gave the boy a smile

The mysterious boy had a mischievous grin and took his hand and said my names "I'll join but I wont be giving up that first place prize."

"We'll see about that" Orion smiled as he felt the fire of competition in his heart even though he knew he would win. He was the best, how could he lose but crushing an arrogant opponent made him feel ecstatic. He pulled the boy up now known as Kain up and singled for him to walk with him.

Most of the students seemed to try follow the professor as there were only a few kids here left in the clearing in the forest. I was in a good mood because I didn't have to go assemble the team myself Orion had already walked up to me and asked to team up.

While we where walking he started trying to strike up a conversation .

"Why did you decide to attack first he didn't even get to say go yet before you attacked him."

"Because I want the prize and thought might as well get the first hit. "

Orion chuckled at my words and replied "Your swordsman skills are interesting, even though they are very simple the power is extreme. I hope you don't mind if I ask what the level of sword art you use."

He was asking to much questions I have to get this guy of my back "I cant reveal all my cards at once." I tried to keep a blank face and seem cool and mysterious but ultimately failed as I had smirk on my face.

he looked annoyed at the name but ignored it as he signaled for me to follow him

He walked to Kent, if you're wondering he has a skilled named Kings eyes that basically allows him to assess a person estimated strength so it makes sense he walked up to the second strongest in the class after him. Though that does make me wonder what he saw with his skill when he used it on me.

Kent had a amused look on his look on his face and started speaking "You want me to team up with you right? "

"Yeah" Orion replied 

"Ill join if you pay for my lunch after this, I'm hungry"

"Alright now that we have a trio where do we even find the professor and what's the plan for even catching him." I questioned 

BOOOOOOOOOOOM -!

That certainly answered my question as we all ran towards the direction of the explosion

It took around 3 minutes it arrive but as we arrived it was already too late for the others

We could all see the massacre that was here in the middle of it was professor with around 10 knocked out students. He hadn't noticed us but he looked like he went for walk in the park even with his power extremely suppressed. Even if they where a bunch of the weaker kids in the class this was still something that got me a little scared only a little though.

Kent immediately went to action as I saw him raise his fist and them chains wrapped around Mr. Thorn binding him for a moment. Me and Orion realized this was our chance and took it, I dashed towards the bound teacher I swung my sword towards his arm but suddenly I was in chains? I felt a hot slap from the side of damned teachers spear.

The damn bastard must have used some sort of location swap skill. I was in the very chains that bound him a second ago. He looked like he about to come around for another swing at me but then a sword flew past and left a blue line on Mr. Thorns cheek. A hologram popped up from my bracelet.

I could see Orion come stand beside me with at least over 2 dozen melee weapons creeping out cracks in space. Orion looked at me and spoke

"Seems like that blue stuff on his body some sort of magic tech thing that counts hits. Must work as a shield too."

Why did he try to make cool arrival into the battle? The professor was the able to recover from his shock and moved to try attack us but a ice bolt hit from` the side.

I moved my head in the direction it came from and there was Kent holding his hand out and looked at me with a shit eating grin.

The hologram updated again but I ignored it as I dashed towards the professor who held a crazed smile on his face. He tried swing his spear at me but I ducked tried to slice at his side. He dodged and was about to throw a counter at me until he noticed multiple flying weapons approaching him and he had to defend. He blocked all the flying weapons and even dodged a fireball spell sent from Kent. 

 He suddenly sped up and before I could react he was in my face and I was sent flying from the thrust of his dull spear into my abdomen. 

Orion set his horde of weapons to attack Mr. Thorn but he had infused mana in to his blade and sent the swords flying from the winds produced by a single slash. he quickly appeared in front of Orion and slammed him into the ground. 

I got back into fight send a flurry of sword strikes in his direction he parried my strikes and tripped me and kicked me in the face. this damn fucking teacher loved beating his students alright.

I got back up to fight but I noticed another student joined the battle and it was none other than Arina she was hurling arrows at Mr. Thorn along with Orion commanding his army of weapons and Kent firing his spells.

They where keeping him busy and it was the perfect time to strike I needed to get another hit in before all the other student arrive, I charged all the sonar and mana I had into my blade and I dashed towards the on going battle.

I swung my blade but this time he blurred and I felt a hard smack to back of my head and my face smashed into the ground. I rise again for what felt like the 100th time to see Mr. Thron standing there with a smile on his face he opened his mouth to speak

"You sure are some impressive first years seems like I will have to use more power against you guys"

An intimidating aura was felt by everyone there as we all tensed for a even harder battle than before.
