Ransom exchange

Peter Rand got to his brother's house just after Kevin had another conversation with the gentler one of the kidnappers. The man had seemed rather less gentle this time though , especially toward the end of the conversation when Kevin tried to demand some evidence that Francine was alive and well. The conversation went something like this:

"I want to talk to my wife."

Kevin demanded.

"That's impossible. She's at a safe house. While I'm at a pay phone. You should know this too. "

The kidnapper rejected calmly.

"Then how do I know she's all right?"

Kevin asked again.

"Because we've had every reason to take good care of her. Look how much she's worth to us."

The kidnapper taunted.

"Jesus, how do I even know you've got her in the first place? May you're just fooling me for money. "

Kevin argued loudly.

"Well I understand your worry. Then are you familiar with her breasts?"
