<p>Seeing the bird's talons swing towards him, Di Tou took a deep breath and used his Spiritual Sense to dig into the energy before spreading his Spiritual Sense out over his body like a set of armor. This wasn't actually very hard, as it was rather similar to how he used his Spiritual Sense to create an aura or when using it to sense.</p>

<p>With a light clash, the talons of the beast sliced into Di Tou before lightly sliding off as if the bird beast had simply been brushing the side of a mountain cliff. Confused, the strange bird let out a loud shriek, once again causing the force from Mu Di Bai's protective energy to surge, before striking at Di Tou twice more.</p>
