The second question was regarding life and death, and what came afterwards. This was a deeply philosophical question, and it was yet another terrifying question with zero successful answers. If there had been four or five questions available today, Di Tou would have crossed this one off his list entirely, but alas, if he were to cut this out there would only be two questions to ponder over nearly six hours.
This was another concept that Di Tou couldn't say he knew too much about. Back on Earth, he wasn't a very religious person, but he generally believed that good people would be rewarded in the afterlife, or whatever process did come next. But at this point, he was somewhat dubious about that entire story.
…
It was very hard to hold firm to one's beliefs after going through everything Di Tou had gone through, especially when those beliefs weren't very firm to begin with.
