Spoils, Part 2

I had one more thing I needed to do before I went to bed.

"Nighttime's the perfect time for some alchemy too."

I pulled out a vial of young chimera poison from my bag and diluted it in a bottle of fairy spring water that I'd infused a few nights back with elf's foil leaves. I then boiled the bottle's contents with high-quality flames spreading out of my palms while also shaking the bottle in the air in the same breath.

Once the brewing was done, I glanced at my work and grinned.

"Assuming this doesn't kill me, I've created something that every novice in the Academy would kill to have."

Thoughts of wanting to share my achievement with a certain she-elf filled my mind, but I was quick to shake those dark imaginings away.

"When did I turn into such a sap…?" I sighed.
