I knew dying repeatedly would be difficult, but I guess I underestimated just how difficult it would be for my mind.

By death eighteen, I managed to unravel the blue paradox from Gleipnir's chain. In exchange for this victory, however, my mind was unraveling too. It was slowly being eaten away by panic, fear, and unbearable pain.

A few hours had passed since the first death, and it was starting to look like the walls were closing in on me. What air I could gulp down inside the time bubble was stale, which hardly helped my growing anxiety.

The quiet wasn't helping either.

I could see Liara talking to me. Encouraging me, or perhaps cursing me, I wasn't sure. Either way, I couldn't hear her, and I'd reached the point where my eyes could barely discern my surroundings, much less interpret the way her mouth was moving.
