Locking its vicious claws in place, Cain was able to save Sam and the innocent girl just in time.
'H...hmph,' Cain muttered nervously as the book chains around its claws slowly weakened, eventually tearing into pieces.
Once Sam escaped with the little girl, Cain had no reason to keep its claw locked in place any longer.

"But its scent wasn't as complete as Flair's," Cain deduced as he stared down at the berserk wether beast.
"GWARRRRRRRAAAWWWWW,"
it roared again, realizing that its previous opponent was no more.
