Theo's play

A cold touch of a human hand fell on Theo's shoulder.

He closed his eyes and relaxed.

The insane speed at which his body recovered mattered not. Now that the invaders caught up to him while he was still near Paichi's corpse, he could no longer put all the blame on him. And as he was out in the relatively open, he couldn't claim to survive the onslaught by hiding behind some obstacle either.

'It's been a good run,' Theo thought when the hands harshly pulled him back.

"Master!" a familiar voice reached his ears.

'Kaya…?' Theo thought, tensing up his facial muscles… only to realize that he was wrong.

Kaya's voice was slightly higher, more… feminine?

'Wait, don't tell me…'

Theo pried his eyes open and shook his head over his shoulder and stared at Tiana's desperation-filled face for a second.
