Kai's pov:
I can't believe today is the day I'm actually going to abduct Alliana and force her to be Carlos's lawyer. I told him we should have just found a new lawyer, but he insisted on having her. I returned home with AJ and Denzel after leaving the prison. Vex was already sitting in the living room, as perplexed as ever.
"All right," I said, pacing back and forth in front of them. "Today is the day where we can't fuck up, or we'll be fucked up." "I still don't understand why Carlos wants Alliana. Don't you think it's strange?" Vex asked. "I'm a little skeptical," I said. "If Carlos has a crush on Alliana, why didn't he try to have sex with her the first day she was here?" Vex asked.
"Because Souline and I were there, and Carlos knows Alliana isn't some easy woman like the other ones he's brought here," I explained. "Considering she has such an attitude," AJ said. "What do you mean?" Vex asked. "When AJ and Denzel first arrived, they were rude to Souline and Alliana," I said, trying to make sense of it all.
"And you two did that for what?" Vex asked, raising an eyebrow at AJ and Denzel. "We thought those were Carlos's flings," AJ explained. "Just because Souline and Alliana are both attractive doesn't mean Carlos fucked them," I explained. "How would you know Carlos fucked them?" Vex wondered. "I'm not sure. After what happened last time, I assumed," Denzel said.
"What situation?" I asked, confused. "That one girl who came to the mansion last time and claimed Carlos got her pregnant? She refused to leave because Vex and AJ wouldn't let her in," Denzel explained. "Oh, her?" I said, finally remembering. "Did you really forget? I thought you said you'd never forget that experience," Vex said, giving me a pointed look. "I forgot a lot of things because of this plan," I said, brushing it off.
"When are we going to execute this plan?" AJ asked. "I suggest we do it at midnight, when everyone's asleep, because we need to get to Ontario in two hours," I explained. "Right now it's ten o'clock, so midnight?" Vex asked. "Exactly," I said. "Do you have anything we can bring?" Denzel asked. "Ropes, tape, and chloroform," I explained. "Are we really going to drug her?" Vex asked. "We can't have her awake because she'll scream," I said. "That's why we have the tape," Vex pointed out.
"Chloroform is better, and we ain't no damn rapists, and we're not doing anything to her while she's unconscious," I explained. "So, what do we do in the meantime?" AJ asked. "Feed Mimi, eat, and then we'll go," I instructed. "I just hope we don't get caught and locked up," AJ said. I sighed and rubbed my eyes.

Alliana's pov:
I looked back after about two hours of cooking and saw the food I had prepared. I made pancakes with eggs, bacon, and coffee. It seemed simple, but it was my first time cooking on my own, considering I usually order out or have Souline cook for me.
I knew blueberries were Souline's favorite berries, so I made her some blueberry pancakes. I let them cool down since they were a little steamy but not burned. I went to check on my eggs and bacon and was pleasantly surprised.
My eggs turned out clear, and the bacon was crispy, which was a relief because I expected them to be a little flat or plain. I returned to my stove and finished Souline's food, placing the pancakes on her plate and drizzling them with syrup.
I smiled as I watched the blueberries fall to the ground. The soft thud of them landing brought a sense of satisfaction. I had spent the past two hours preparing a meal, and now I was waiting for Souline to come downstairs so I could finish up the coffee. As I stood in the kitchen, I couldn't help but feel a little proud of myself. I usually order out or have Souline handle the cooking, but today I was taking the reins. When she finally came downstairs, wearing one of my shirts, I couldn't help but admire how stunning she looked, even in something so simple.
"Finally, I feel like I've been waiting for two hours," I said, teasing her as she walked into the room. Souline gave me a playful look and said, "I was showering, not rummaging through your closet for clothes." I could tell she wasn't expecting me to actually cook, but when she saw the pancakes, eggs, and bacon, she seemed impressed. "You did not make this for me," she said, eyeing the blueberry pancakes skeptically.
"I certainly did," I answered, standing up to grab the coffee maker and pour her a cup. Souline raised an eyebrow at me. "Hm, okay," she said, as if trying to figure out if I was serious. "I'm not kidding! I spent my time preparing meals for us," I explained with a smile, proud of my efforts. Souline's teasing smile softened, and she added, "I'm just teasing you. I smelled it from upstairs, and my stomach grumbled." I chuckled, watching her take a sip of coffee. "Well, eat, because we're expecting a client soon," I said. She nodded, picked up her fork, and started on the pancakes. I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment as I watched her enjoy the meal.
"You should make these more frequently."

AJ's pov:
I couldn't believe that one of the toughest bodyguards in the room, Vex, was scared of a cat. "Vex, she's not going to hurt you," I said, rubbing my brow in frustration. Vex, though, wasn't having it. "You said that last time, and I got bit twice," he replied, holding a spoonful of cat food like it was a weapon, his hand shaking. "You know cats can sense when someone is a threat, right?" Denzel asked, looking amused by the whole situation. Vex shot him a glare, clearly annoyed. "Yeah, and I'm not a threat," Vex said, but his furrowed brow suggested he wasn't entirely convinced.
"Bro, just feed her so we can get ready," I urged, trying to move things along. With a dramatic sigh, Vex reluctantly fed Mimi, who was eyeing him with what I could only describe as devilish eyes. "Why is she staring at Vex like that?" I whispered to Denzel, feeling the tension in the air. Denzel shrugged and took a few steps back, and I followed suit. Neither of us knew exactly what was going on, but it didn't seem like a good idea to get too close. "Why are you two backing up?" Vex asked, raising an eyebrow. "Nothing," Denzel muttered nervously, but we both knew that Mimi had an agenda. "You better tell me or I'll shoot—AH!" Vex screamed suddenly.
I winced and covered my ears, my eyes wide, as Mimi leaped onto Vex, attacking him with surprising speed. "What the hell is going on?!" Kai's voice boomed as he rushed downstairs, clearly caught off guard by the chaos. "Mimi is attacking Vex again," I explained, barely holding back laughter. "So why are you dumbasses just standing there and not helping him?" Kai demanded, exasperated. "Because it's hilarious," Denzel giggled, clearly entertained. "The next time, it's your responsibility to feed Mimi," Kai told Denzel, clearly irritated but also somewhat amused. He then approached Mimi, trying to calm her down, but she only darted upstairs, leaving us in stunned silence.
We all bolted after Mimi, who had darted into the conference room, seeking refuge under the desk. Kai was the first to make a move, crawling after her, but Mimi wasn't giving up easily. She hissed and swiped at him, her claws extended in defiance. "Mimi, pipe the fuck down or I'm getting the spray," Kai growled, his voice low and threatening. That was all it took to make Mimi freeze, her anger subsiding just enough for Kai to breathe easier. I quickly summoned the maids, instructing them to escort Mimi to her room before any more chaos ensued. "I swear, if Alliana acts like this when we abduct her, I'm going to shoot her," Kai muttered under his breath as he left the room, clearly still frustrated.
Denzel and I both noticed Vex's scratches, marks from Mimi's earlier attack. His face was a patchwork of red lines and small cuts. "Let's get you fixed up before we go," I said, grabbing the medkit from the shelf. Vex shot me a look, one that could've pierced through steel. "If you even think of touching me, I'll do to you what Mimi did to me, but worse," Vex threatened, his tone serious. I raised my hands in mock surrender, but Denzel was already moving in to help, a little more patient than I was. "Yeah, yeah, calm down, you big baby," Denzel groaned, rolling his eyes as he cradled Vex, the whole situation only getting more ridiculous as the seconds passed.

Souline's pov:
I leaned back in my chair, feeling the satisfaction of a good meal. "Those blueberry pancakes and coffee were delicious!" I exclaimed, rubbing my stomach with contentment as Alliana began clearing the table. "Thank you," she said with a warm smile, her movements efficient as she gathered the plates. "No problem," I said, watching her for a moment before asking, "Has the client ever told you their name?"
Alliana paused, thinking for a moment. "Now that you mention it, I don't recall them ever telling me their name," she admitted, a slight frown on her face. "Right," I responded thoughtfully. "Well, let's just hope it's not anyone strange." Alliana nodded as she began to wipe down the table, the soft sound of the cloth against the wood filling the silence.
"I'm going to my section and organize it," I said as I stood up, stretching my arms. "All right," Alliana replied, continuing her work. When I reached my desk, I was immediately struck by the mess. Files were scattered, papers cluttered the surface, and a few random items were haphazardly strewn about. I started sorting through the chaos, tossing out trash and unused papers. I put my pens, paperclips, and stapler in their designated spots, wiping away the dust from the surface. "Clean and organized," I muttered to myself with satisfaction, pleased with the transformation.
I threw away the last of the trash and washed my hands, feeling a sense of relief from the tidying up. Just as I was about to sit down, there was a knock on the door. I quickly adjusted my appearance, making sure everything was in place, and went over to check on Alliana. "Our client is here; are you ready?" I asked. "Yes, let them in," she said. I nodded, walked over to the door, and opened it. As soon as I saw the person standing there, my jaw dropped.
