CHAPTER 26- DEJA VU

*****Three weeks later*******

Adriana shivered uncontrollably in bed. A raging storm poured out incessantly outside, and with every peal of thunder her toes curled beneath the sheets. She instinctively pulled the blanket tighter over herself, but she wasn't quite awake yet. The rain continued on more heavily. By this time, it sounded more like it was raining down hail, not water.

Then, with an ear splitting crash of thunder accompanied by brilliant bolts of lightning, the door to her room was flung open loudly. Adriana turned towards it in alarm. Standing in front of the doorway was Philippe. It looked like he'd just come in from the storm. Water dripped down from his hair, his clothes, and even his shoes creating a large puddle on the floor.

To top off the dangerously frightening aura he had around him, his lips were an eerie pale blue. The look on his face showed that he was more than pleased at her reaction towards him.
