CHAPTER 54- TRYING TIMES.

When she got tired of staying in the garden all by herself, Mera decided to return to her chambers and wait for Dexter there. Just as she was leaving, her worst nightmare surfaced. Coming into the garden and making right for her was countess Felicia. Mera froze, panic-stricken.

In a last desperate attempt to escape the unpleasant circumstances that came with the obnoxious woman, Mera's eyes frantically searched around the place in faint hope of finding an escape route. It was a little too late. Aunt Felicia had seen her already.

Defeated, Mera balled her hands into fists so tight her knuckles turned white, dreadfully awaiting the inevitable. What better way to spoil the lovely mood she was in after having breakfast with Dexter?! She thought, already feeling a migraine.
