Flowers

Cindy Richards needed to use the washrooms after having quite a lot of coffee during her breaks. While in the hallway, she saw Alexander Sterling from afar and he was holding a bouquet of fiery red roses. Daniel Owens was by his side and he looked very excited as he spoke to Alexander Sterling.

Everywhere he went; the employees would turn their heads and exclaim about how handsome he looked holding the flowers.

Some employees expressed their jealousy of the woman who was going to receive the flowers. They conversed as they praised their CEO for being mindful and buying the woman he loved flowers.

One woman commented, "Oh My God, did you see Alexander Sterling with those red roses? He looks like he stepped out of a romantic movie! Whoever is receiving those is one lucky lady."

As Cindy made her way through the hallway, the buzz about Alexander Sterling and the bouquet of fiery red roses intensified. Daniel Owens's animated excitement added to the spectacle, creating a ripple of admiration and envy among the employees.

Alexander Sterling's charismatic presence seemed to cast a spell, drawing the attention of everyone he passed. The vibrant red roses in his hands became a symbol of romance, and whispers of admiration followed in his wake.

Jealous murmurs circulated among some employees, expressing their envy for the fortunate woman about to receive such a thoughtful gesture. The air was filled with speculation and anticipation, as the office momentarily transformed into a theater of romantic intrigue.

One woman, unable to contain her excitement, exclaimed, "Oh My God, those roses are stunning! I wish someone would surprise me like that." Her sentiment echoed the collective yearning for a touch of romance, and Alexander Sterling's gesture became not just a personal expression of affection but a source of inspiration for romantic aspirations within the office.

For some reason, Cindy felt butterflies in the pit of her stomach. She quickly walked to the washrooms and when she was done, she got out only to see a scene that made her excited heart fall,

Joanna Bloom was walking through the hallway with a bouquet of red roses in her hand.

She did not know why but seeing the flowers almost made her cry.

So the flowers were not for her but for…Joanna Bloom?

Cindy laughed at herself, indeed, she thought too much.

Joanna Bloom saw her from where she was and walked briskly in her long heels and then taunted, "Look at what someone has surprised me with?"

Cindy was so angry that she almost slapped the flowers away but she held herself in and walked away slowly with slumped shoulders.

She believed, she truly believed that Alexander Sterling really started to like her because if he did not then why would he save her from Victor Chen yesterday? This was a case of wishful thinking.

Joanna Bloom was livid after being ignored. She stomped loudly on the floor and went to catch up with Cindy, "Are you jealous? Have you now seen the position I hold? Now let us wait and see who will win this game in the end!"

Cindy did not want to listen to her anymore. She walked away to her desk only to find Ariana Stephens holding something, a bouquet of fiery red roses!

Her eyes stung and the tears almost fell.

Ariana walked towards her in excitement, "Cindy, someone brought flowers for you!"

Cindy sniffed and then walked towards Ariana. She received the card the other offered and she immediately recognized Alexander Sterling's handwriting. The message was simple,

"Just like these flowers, may your day bloom with joy and beauty. Your presence adds a special fragrance to our lives. Sending you love and warmth with these blossoms."

It was very sweet but Cindy felt like going up to Alexander Sterling's office to shove the flowers in his face.

He had the audacity to give Joanna Bloom the flowers eye to eye yet he only sent someone to bring flowers to her?

Who did he think she was?

Ariana was really excited about the flowers, "I wish someone would send me flowers like these! Cindy, you are very lucky!"

Cindy was at the end. She quickly took the flowers from Ariana's hands and dumped them in the trash can. She shredded the note and threw it in as well.

Ariana looked shocked, "Why…?

Cindy did not want to talk about it yet before she could even take a step, she saw a hand going in the trash can to retrieve the flowers she had just thrown. From behind her came a sigh,

"Such beautiful flowers, what did they do to deserve being thrown away like this?"

Cindy quickly turned around and saw a very handsome face. The man had

Cindy quickly turned around and saw a very handsome face. The man had a magnetic presence that seemed to draw attention effortlessly. His sculpted features exuded a perfect blend of rugged charm and refined elegance. High cheekbones framed a square jawline, giving his face a strong and distinguished appeal.

His piercing eyes, a shade of deep, soulful brown, held a warmth that contrasted with the subtle intensity of his gaze. Beneath well-groomed, dark eyebrows, those eyes seemed to tell stories of experiences and wisdom.

A confident smile played on his lips, revealing a set of impeccably maintained teeth. The lines on his face suggested a life well-lived, adding character to his already striking countenance.

His hair, styled with a careful nonchalance, complemented the overall aura of sophistication. Each strand seemed to fall into place effortlessly, enhancing rather than diminishing the allure of his handsome features.

Tall and well-built, he carried himself with an easy grace that hinted at both physical strength and innate confidence.

He wore simple clothes and the soft smile still hang on his lips. This was the star, Benjamin Clarke.

Cindy found herself drawn to him.

Benjamin Clarke chuckled once more, "Since you have thrown these away then I can have them?"

Cindy was brought back to reality, "That…
