The question caught Cindy Richards off guard.
She was lost in thought for a good while. She was trying to remember,
Was Alexander good to her?
He was handsome, successful and the object of many women's desires. At some point in time, he started being Cindy Richards dream as well and her dream had turned real when she married him but she did not expect someone to ask her such a question.
So, did he treat her well?
If someone asked this while waiting for an answer then she would say Yes immediately but Benjamin had asked her in such a manner that she could not even muster up the courage to lie to his face.
Alexander Sterling was a man she had been in love with for the most and better part of her life. She always thought that she would be fine once she married him and that now she would have him all to herself but she failed to look at the different reality.
Alexander was quite good to her in all other ways. He drove her to work, gave her encouragement when she needed it and he was also a great cook, he made breakfast for her but all these simple things were overshadowed by the fact that he still did not do the most important thing Cindy Richards wanted him to do, to love her.
He did not love her and Cindy had already come to accept this fact.
She looked so sad. She quickly turned to Benjamin Clarke and said, "I want to have some fun, wanna come with me?"
...
EASTWING BAR,
East Wing bar was quite famous as it was said that a very popular actor was the owner. Ever since the news came out, this place became a go-to of every Larry goer in town.
Benjamin was the one driving and he pulled up to the parking lot conspicuously
Because he was a very famous star, if anyone saw him here then it would cause a lot of trouble so he had to wear a disguise so as to have fun without any interruptions.
No one knew Cindy Richards here so she did not need any disguise. She looked at Benjamin who had been wrapped up like a dumpling, "Isn't this a bit too much?"
Benjamin Clarke wore a black trouser matched with a black hoodie, black boots, black mask and to top it off, a black hat. He looked like the phantom.
Cindy Richards stared at him speechlessly, "Isn't it too hot?"
Benjamin Clarke looked at her thorough the small space left between his eyes and nose, "Too hot? It is better than being bombarded by a crowd of people!"
Benjamin Clarke was a top star and his fans even knew how his hair strands looked like so if he left something out then there was no way he was going to have fun in this place.
The two of them walked inside and as soon as the door opened, Cindy Richards exclaimed, "Wow!"
The interior of the bar was better than any Cindy had seen and the design was minimalistic yet impactful.
The seats were arranged in a manner that allowed for space between them and the upper decks were all lined with golden streaks to make it look like a palace.
The grandeur of the place was stunning and Cindy Richards felt as if she had been transported into a different world.
The top deck was where the VIP section was and in one of the room, someone she never thought would be here was.
Alexander Sterling did not know how Logan Johns managed to get him out of the office but here he was, sitting at a table with countless expensive drinks line up and Logan on the other side and his sister Gia on the other.
Gia Logan smiled as she took a sip of her drink, "Brother Alex, it has been such a long time since we met!"
As friends, Alexander Sterling had visited Logan Johns house many times and he had seen Gia Logan once or twice during his visits.
Alexander Sterling nodded, "It has."
He was a man of few words and it was Logan Johns who steered the conversation,
"How can you meet him when all he does is stay in his office all day! He does not know the meaning of fun!"
Alexander Sterling glared at him but his gaze could not stop the mouthy Logan Johns, "Back in college he was so uptight that ladies avoided him like the plague. Even though he was handsome, none of them got to close for fear that he might burn them with his gaze!"
Alexander knew he could not stop Logan Johns so he simply focused on sipping his drink slowly.
Gia listened but she could not focus too much as she was staring at Alexander Sterling's perfect side profile.
He had a chiselled jaw and his eyes seemed to dance with the lights. He was magnificently gorgeous.
He was all the dream of many women and that included Gia.
When she was young, she fell in love with this friend of her brother's and she tried so hard to hide her feelings butseeing him now, she realized it was impossible to hide them any longer.
She looked at Alexander and interrupted her brother's speech.
"Brother Alex looks so good. These years must have been very good to you!"
Alexander's hand holding the drink stopped and he turned his head to look at His questioningly.
He did not expecting hear that from her at all!
Logan Johns was also surprised. His sister rarely spoke but now that she did, he suddenly realized something.
His sister...did not like Alexander, did she?
His train of thought was interrupted when he saw something outside. He gasped quite loudly and it caught the attention of the two inside the room with him.
His eyes did not leave outside as he said, "Oh my God, I have yet to see such a..."
