Cindy paced the living room, trying to shake off the unease that clung to her thoughts like a persistent shadow. She had been restless ever since she found the items in Alexander's old room. The questions swirling in her mind refused to settle, making it impossible to focus on anything else.

Her phone buzzed, breaking her train of thought. She picked it up and saw a message from Nova.

"Hey, Cindy! Fancy grabbing some drinks tonight? I could use a break, and I'd love to catch up."

Cindy felt a wave of relief wash over her. A night out with Nova was exactly what she needed. She quickly replied, "That sounds perfect. When and where?"

Nova responded almost immediately, "How about the Eclipse Lounge at 7 PM? I'll reserve a VIP room so we can have some privacy."
