Don't ever leave me

Cindy nestled herself deeper into Alexander's embrace, savoring the warmth and comfort he provided. The remnants of the nightmare still lingered at the edges of her mind, but here in his arms, she felt safe—protected from the shadows that had haunted her sleep. For a few more moments, she let herself lean into him, allowing the tension to fully drain from her body.

She had been tossing and turning so much during her sleep that she was now covered in a light sheen of sweat. Her nightclothes clung uncomfortably to her, and she couldn't shake the feeling of being sticky and uncomfortable.

She pulled back slightly, glancing up at Alexander. "I think I need to take a shower," she said softly, offering him a small, apologetic smile.
