Cold breeze collided with my exposed thighs from the white mini A-line pleated skirt that stopped halfway through my thighs as I stood at the entrance of the Anderson mansion. I've been standing for a calculated fifteen minutes without any sight of Liam who asked to be here in ten minutes.
Well, it's partially my fault for coming here immediately after we spoke and he disappeared in the hallways, but isn't he supposed to be a punctual person? He's a CEO after all and that's always their thing.
I moaned inwardly, staring around in the hope of seeing any sign of him, but fixed my gaze back to Wadsworth who stood only a few feet away from me when his absence seeped the hope out of me.
He wasn't looking at me all while I searched for Liam, well not directly, but immediately turned to me when I paid him attention like he'd been watching me.
"Where's Liam? He's supposed to be out."
