Chapter 55- Why casual clothes?

"Can't believe that guy never showed up. " Inside one of the airships, sat six individuals wearing varying expressions, as one of them with the broadest build spoke up.

"Well, can't blame Tae-Gyu since what we all are doing is trusting a teenage boy and forging everything in this raid which we have built over years." Baek sighed.

It wasn't like the mandarin-haired man was completely distrusting Haru's commitment to clear the Jeju-do today, but if summarized this whole situation then almost every prominent person in Korea and all the leading forces from each guild has been on the tail of a newly assessed S-rank hunter who has yet to get his first official raid allotment.

"We are going to fight alongside him so no point to harbor doubts now, Hyung. " The raven-haired healer lightly reprimanded his senior since at this point when they would be facing off hundreds upon hundreds of deadly foes, it would be best to not be wary of their comrades.

"I know... it just feels too unreal. What about Hunter Cha? What are your thoughts on the matter?"

Every gaze turned toward the vice guild master of the top-ranking guild which made the sole woman in the airship flustered slightly but she answered nevertheless, "I am positive about this raid and have a feeling that those two would bring the change, Korea desired. "

Despite being called the Sword Saintess by many and how wonderful of a warrior she actually was, everyone around Cha Hae-In feels warm in their heart to see how humble the lady in actuality is.

"What about this guy? Are we gonna protect him while fighting those monsters? "

Ma DongWook asked while pointing his thumb toward the soldier who had a mini camera taped on his helmet and a hand cam prepared as well.

However, before anyone or the soldier in question himself could have responded, a massive blow from the outside made everyone turn their head toward the source of the explosion.

Cha Hae-In's eyes slightly widened as she muttered under her breath... "He chopped them...?"

Currently, in the air, there were around ten corpses of mutated ants bisected in precise two parts, and the person responsible for such a magnificent yet terrifying onslaught was currently levitating lazily at the same height as the airship.

"Look...even Mr. Jin-Woo. " As Choi Jong-In called up, every gaze traveled not so long far where Jin-Woo could be seen riding his massive wyvern-like summon and his hand raised in the air.

What was a bunch of mutated aggressive ants a moment ago, was soon transformed into a ball of chunks before Jin-Woo fed the ant ball to his wyvern.

"Those two....are playing with the ants?" No one dared think that those ants were just mere insects since their size and outer shell gave the experienced hunters enough proof, of how tough it would be to fight so many of them at once.

Regardless, the mage from the team decided to test his luck before he jumped out of the ship, earning a gasp from the soldier.

The said man was recording every bit and piece of the battle ensuing without missing a beat. Despite his jaw hanging low, he ensured that his viewers were getting entertained without any interruptions.

After landing on the ground, everyone moved as planned.

Jin-Woo, Cha Hae-In, and Min Byung-Gyu were attacking from the rear and would attempt to clear out the nest as soon as they could.

Haru would release enough attraction that would invite every active ant to prey on him. Those who would try to escape would be handled by Tusk who was on the land, ready to use his hymn of protection to create a barrier and stop any insect to flee, and Kaisel along with Igrit who was in mid-air, as the last line of defense.

Jin-Woo didn't object to the plan since he knew he would be able to more or less clear out the Queen along with her nest, more so with the assistance of the S-rank healer and such a wonderful warrior alongside him.

'How many women I have seen with such an aura....maybe no one... ' Side glancing at the blond woman, Jin-Woo inwardly thought before retracting his gaze before it becomes obvious to her.

"Mister Sung...are you comfortable not wearing any armor?" Maybe it was to break the awkward silence, Cha Hae-In asked in an uncertain tone.

Currently, since they were only standing at the rear end, Jin-Woo didn't find anything urgent to deal with. The regular ants who were swarming at them were being handled by the shadow soldiers so he properly answered the question with his gaze focused on her.

"I feel more comfortable in these clothes."

The look on her face completely told that Jin-Woo's words made no sense and she had justifiable reason to think so but it was true that Jin-Woo actually never liked being burdened with armor and vest needlessly. Even the robe he had to wear in the Demon castle was a hassle.

"Woah... " The team healer exclaimed as both Cha Hae-In and Jin-Woo also turned their head in the direction from where the strong surge of energy they could feel.

"It's the first time... "

"...that I have felt mana from him... " Jin-Woo words were completed by Cha Hae-In since both of them had the same thing in mind.

It was not just them but everyone on this island to feel Haru's magical presence for the first time since they met him. And even from Jin-Woo's perspective, that much aura was simply out of the norm.

It surpassed Cha Hae-In or anyone they have seen until now. Truly terrorizing.

But suddenly, [All three of you move out of the way and take a safe distance right now. ]

Haru's voice resounded through the wireless they had in their ear before all the three hunters glanced at each other with a frown and instantly, upon Jin-Woo's call Kaisel loaded the three on its back.

The massive creature took a hefty distance from the land but Jin-Woo didn't call back his summonings who still was fighting off the ants.

While still frowning, Jin-Woo spoke to the person connected on the line, "What are you doing Ha-" However, the soon-to-shadow monarch never got to finish his words since just in a flash a huge midsection of the island disappeared.

It seemed like a huge lava ball rolled across the island, chunks, and debris were only left in the line from where the attack was shot.

With her eyes widened Cha Hae-In muttered, "W-Wasn't that... " Only Cha Hae-In and Jin-Woo were able to see what caused such massive destruction.

"Yeah...it was Haru. " Jin-Woo absentmindedly muttered before his eyes suddenly fell on a humanoid insect trying to make its way toward the rear end.

Jin-Woo could feel that this one was stronger than the others and has somehow escaped the line of Haru's attack.

Without thinking much, Jin-Woo commanded, with his eyes never leaving the humanoid insect.

"Kaisel, move forth."

A/N: - Ah, everything would be described in the next chapter.

Hollow purple is practically untraceable until your perception isn't sharp like the two named in the chapter. It wasn't the OG theory but what I assumed based on my remeberenace.

It wasn't that Beru escaped the hollow...he possibly couldn't have. Well, you probably know why Beru was left for Jin-Woo to handle.

Drop a comment if you are excited about the next chapter.

And the same condition. Three hundred stones mean another chapter this week.
