Chapter 94- King?!

[The Data stored in your memory will be retrieved.]

[Will you accept it?]

See the system prompt, Jin-Woo tousled his hair and found the dried-up blood itching his scalp.

The reason for his concern wasn't his injury, to the least, but rather the offer being presented before his eyes.

'My memories...' To think, the answers to all his questions have always been stored in the system, was in a sense, absurd. However, thinking carefully, it makes sense as well.

Jin-Woo momentarily paused before he turned his head toward Haru. Seeing his confident smile with his arms crossed on his chest, Jin-Woo felt that with his junior nearby, he could do this.

"I accept."

[Data received successfully.]

Suddenly, a blinding golden light enveloped the place, with Jin-Woo as its center.

Confronting the illumination, Jin-Woo found his consciousness fading...or rather, his consciousness being transferred to a whole another dimension, altogether...

Back in the Cartenon temple, the Architect grinned upon witnessing the vessel, finally receiving the memories and the powers of the Shadow Monarch.

Finally, the moment of the true Monarch's arrival was nearing and the Architect would get its end of the deal settled.

However, if something irked the creator of the System, then it was...

[I don't remember inviting any guests...] Aside from those who just entered the dungeon, what troubled the stone-faced inhumane was the levitating figure of the human being.

There was a feeling the Architect was experiencing in the presence of this peculiar human. And this feeling was keeping the Architect on edge.

"Ah, don't mind me creepy ass. I am just a bystander." Hearing the response from the 'bystander', Architect took the spear lying close to it, and threw it toward the human.

Naturally, Haru didn't move and only saw the stone spear turning into dust upon clashing with his infinity.

"As I said, creepy ass...don't mind."

**TREMBLE**

The content of his words remained the same, however, utilizing just some percent of his mana and it was enough to make the Architect tremble, with its eyes wide open.

[S-So...you are the infamous Infinity...]

A murmur which Haru deliberately chose to ignore left Architect's throat before it narrowed its eyes and turned the focus toward the new arrival.

[Five minutes earlier]

The whole A-team along with the guild master and vice-guild master of the Hunters Guild were advancing in the double dungeon which Hunter Sung reported about.

"Hunter Sung went inside alone despite knowing that this was a double lair? Sounds a bit reckless to me." Despite being aware of Hunter Sung Jin-Woo's strength, it was justifiable for Hunter Choi to voice out such a statement.

Double Dungeons could lead to catastrophe, and it was widely known. If anything, Hunter Sung could have waited for the Association's backup.

"Who knows...maybe he has sensed something that is not discernable to common hunters?" At this point, Inspector Jin-Chul believed Hunter Sung to be anything but ordinary.

Not only did his history make him a special being, who went through three lifetimes of progression within a few months, but he also achieved some of the feats that people could only expect from a whole A-rank team led by an S-rank.

'However...Hunter Sung said he wasn't able to conquer the double lair last time...then why did he return to this place?' For some reason, the surveillance chief didn't have a good feeling about this.

Woo Jin-Chul did try contacting the other newly evaluated S-ranked and probably the strongest Korean Hunter up to this date—Hunter Nanase Haruka...but his phone was unreachable, which left the orange-haired with no other option, than to proceed with the Hunters Guild.

On the other side, there was a thin frown marring Hunter Cha's face since the energy she was experiencing from inside the dungeon, didn't belong to Sung Jin-Woo.

'Strange...'

It was then, that every hunter came to an abrupt pause.

**TREMBLE**

The whole dungeon trembled under the pressure of the magical influence of a single being. Some of the A-rank hunters dropped to their knees because of the pressure and some had their faces turned pale in fret.

Hunter Choi Jong-In also didn't have a great visage upon experiencing something so heavy and vast. He has never felt so small before apart from how he felt back on Jeju-do.

However, if someone had a calm expression even in this situation then it was none other than the blond hunter.

"It's Hunter Nanase's energy. He is inside. Let's go."

Looking at the confident approach of the S-ranked hunter—Cha Hae-In all the others suddenly gained enough strength to follow her lead and walk inside the lair.

The short walk beyond the gates came to an abrupt halt when their eyes laid on the scenery in front,

"What the hell happened here?!" Chaotic could be the perfect word to describe why Hunter Choi reacted in such a way.

Remnants of fallen stone soldiers lay scattered across the arena, illuminated by the glow of luminescent lamps, bearing witness to the aftermath of a fierce and deadly battle between two opposing forces.

[More insolent human who came to disturb King's slumber?]

Suddenly, a brazen and shrill voice resonated across the place before the group turned to look at the multi-armed stone statue rising from the shambles and looking at them with its partially visible eye.

"So...it's true..." What Jin-Chul discerned had no effect on others since they were too petrified or shocked to even feel their own heartbeat.

"What...Hunter Sung doing there?!" Hearing one of the hunters' call, Hae-In turned to look at the big crater nearby, where the sole figure of a raven-haired youth was standing with a blank expression; motionlessly.

[Annoying...all of you just perish!]

The loud shout of the same stone monster echoed before several stone soldiers began to stand on their feet, including the tallest one with flashy yellow eyes.

A shiver traveled down everyone's spine upon witnessing the bizarre scene unfolding right before their eyes.

"Prepare for battle!"

Hearing Choi Jong-In's call, everyone was brought out of their stupor before they wielded their weapons and began to chant spells.

'That big one surely would take a lot to handle...' Cha Hae-In clenched her sword in her grip as she planned to target the stronger-looking foes all by herself and provide her teammates the time to deal with the meele-weaponed adversaries.

"Fuck!"

Suddenly, someone from the group shouted as they watched the big statue's eyes glowing fiercely, and before anyone could even move, a ray of light began to advance in their direction.

If anyone then Cha Hae-In and Choi Jong-in had the time to evade the attack...but not the others.

'Damn it!' Clenching his jaw, Hunter Choi jumped in front, intending to use his firewall to negate the effect of the blast.

However, none of it was ever required as suddenly someone jumped even some meters ahead of Choi Jong-In and deflected the beam without even moving an inch.

"Hunter...Nanase..."

A/N:- Is the progression too slow? I don't want to rush things because some people find the fiction boring. I will just keep things moderate.
