New Satisfying Sensation

Samael was devastated by the news, his body began to tremble in sheer anger.

During the night when he saw his father break down, he remembered his father is coughing severely which is weird. A mage in the Wizard realm such as himself is completely immune to sickness, there are no natural sicknesses that can blight him.

Only magical sickness can potentially causes him harm, but that is very unlikely.

Fedele spend most of his time in his home city tending to the church and the people that wanted to deepen their spiritual side, he rarely went out of the city except for a few times to visit his old friends.

With that knowledge in mind, there's no gap when Fedele can get a magical sickness.

Most magical sickness comes from other mages, venomous magical beasts, and poisonous mana trees. Since the city is quite safe with no conflict whatsoever, there's no chance that Fedele can catch any magical sickness.

It's simply not possible, there's nothing that can harm him in the city.

Under such a devastating realization, Samael looks down as his expression contorted into a grim one. 'Where is their loyalty when we need it the most? Why has everyone betrayed us in the most important moment?' he thought grimly.

Samael clenched his hands into trembling fists as the anger inside of him erupted.

None of his family members treated the maids like any other families or noble families, they treated the maids as if they were not a servant but a friend instead. But they were repaid not by a good thing but with betrayal instead.

As it turns out, his family has been grooming snakes with kindness and care.

The rotten heart inside of Mara was not able to be cleansed by kindness and care, it was the biggest mistake of the family to treat her like a part of the family. It doesn't mean anything to her if she ended up betraying them like this.

With such intense anger inside of him, Samael clenched his jaw strongly.

Krrkk!

Samael was clenching his jaw so hard that a boney sound can be heard, he grind his teeth as the seed of hatred bloomed even faster inside of him. Looking up at Asher, he then asked innocently, "I-Is it bad if I really want to kill her?"

Even though his voice is steady, his expression is that of trouble and unease.

It's clear that Samael is trying to suppress the emotions that are wanting to erupt out of his body and unleash the evil inside of him. Upon seeing this, Asher quickly grabs his shoulder firmly, "Don't try and suppress your emotions, it's not good for you"

"Just remember the burn, and channel it into action" he added with an assuring tone.

Upon hearing this, Samael's face started to turn red as he let go of his anger and expresses it. Immediately after that, he stands up with his hands itching to hit something and lets out his pent-up frustration.

Asher smiled when he saw this, "Go, I'll wait for you here"

Gaining the confirmation nod, Samael turns around before he dashes away.

Most of the time before everything happen, whenever he was angry or frustrated he would just complain to God. It's the only way he can channel his negative emotions, but now he can't do that anymore.

Saying the word 'God' alone would bring him pain, and he's also a changed man.

Swoosh!

Samael keeps on running through the bushes like a mad bull, searching for anything that he can plant his fist in. No matter what they are, magical beasts, or even other people, he just wanted to let his anger out.

[The anti-host's summon has committed a kill!]

[Killed an Epilson-rank Magical Beast, Rock-Skin Squirrel! Obtained 50 Exp!]

As Samael marched through the forest, consumed by the raging rage inside of him, he noticed two notifications from the Anti-System. This surprised him as he hadn't killed anything, yet he seemed to be gaining experience points.

But it didn't take long for him to realize where this experience point come from.

'It's the Demon Imp, huh... So I can gain experience like this too?' Samael thought in delight.

Gaining knowledge of another way to gain experience points, a smile swept across his face as this can be exploited to greatly increase his growth process. On top of that, this also heightens Samael's desire to clear the second floor of the Ruin of the Underworld.

Just imagine if he has a legion of Demons that he can command.

Samael can't even start to comprehend just how many experience points he will gain if he has a legion to command, his level will skyrocket when that happens. A path to power has become clearer and clearer thanks to the Anti-System.

Answering his thought earlier, another red box appeared in his vision.

[Summoned Demon through the Gate of Unholy Unique Skill would gain 100% of the experience from the living creatures it killed. But the anti-host would also gain 50% of the experience points as its summoner]

Reading this explanation, Samael's smile blooms even wider as he quickens his pace.

It has only been ten minutes or so but Samael has already managed to kill 3 Epilson-rank magical beasts around the area and the Demon Imp managed to kill 5 more Epilson-rank magical beasts, putting them in a total of 8 kills.

From those kills, Samael got a total of 1,675 experience points.

1,000 experience points were harvested from his kills and the rest from the Demon Imp.

Because of that, he managed to increase a level and reach level 9, while the Demon Imp also gained a couple of levels from the kills it did. Both of them are steadily growing stronger and stronger.

[The Demon Imp has reached level 2!]

[.... reached level 3!]

[... reached level 4!]

[... reached level 5!]

[The Demon Imp has learned Iron-Skin passive skill!]

Samael is completely immersed in his hunt, he can feel an elation inside him as he did this.

'T-This feels good!' he thought excitedly.

Since he has always been using complaints to God as a coping mechanism for the anger and frustration that he felt at times, the satisfaction he received is not comparable to the one he felt right now.

Every punch he delivered to the magical beast sparks spark electricity throughout his body.

Although he has been alive for almost 22 years of age, he has never felt this kind of sensation in his entire life. It's addicting, venting anger through the natural instinct that the body craves is a sensation that rejuvenates his entire soul.

With the smile on his face blossoming, Samael fixated his eyes on a bear-like creature.

Just now he had already killed a deer-like creature by grabbing its horns and splitting its skull open, the blood smeared on his face doesn't seem to hinder Samael's intention to continue his onslaught.

Now another prey has come into his view, a Grizzly Tyrant.

Samael didn't pause for another second as he quickly sprinted straight at the Grizzly Tyrant, a type of grizzly bear that has more muscle in its body and is also bigger than the normal grizzly bear.

It's supposed to be a fearsome magical beast in the Epilson-rank realm.

As of this moment, the Grizzly Tyran't pupils dilated seeing a human charging at it with a thick scent of blood coming from him. Startled by the sight, the Grizzly Tyrant hastily spun around and took off in the opposite direction without even looking back ever again.

"Don't you run from me! I'm not going to hurt you, so come here!" Samael shouted.

But even though the Grizzly Tyrant could not comprehend human language, the poor creature surely sensed danger from Samael, especially the purple glint emanating from his eyes that sent a shiver down its spine.

Despite being a predator itself, the Grizzly Tyrant felt like prey instead.

The Grizzly Tyrant tries to escape to the best of its abilities, but Samael is closing the gap quicker than it can run away. Just as Samael's hands were about to reach the creature, he suddenly stopped abruptly.

A frown appeared on Samael's face as he watches the Grizzly Tyran getting further away.

Even when the Grizzly Tyrant has already disappeared in the thick dark green of the forest, he didn't mind the creature and glanced to the side. 'Hmm...? The connection I have with the Demon Imp got cut off?' Samael thought in confusion.

Since he's the summoner, there's a link connecting him to the Demon Imp.

Through that link, Samael knows that there's a certain limit to how far he and the Demon Imp can separate. Currently, the maximum distance is around a hundred meters which is not a lot to work with.

But even though the Demon Imp stayed within that range, the link suddenly disappeared.

[The anti-host's summoned demon, Demon Imp has been killed!]

Upon reading the notification from the Anti-System, Samael's eyes completely jotted open as he didn't expect for the Demon Imp to be killed. It was even more surprising as the Demon Imp has just gained the Hard-Skin passive skill.

It's a skill that makes the Demon Imp's skin tougher and increased its endurance by 50.

Out of curiosity and confusion, Samael quickly sprints to the place where the Demon Imp was killed. As he got closer to the spot, he can hear voices in the far distance, 'People...? Are they mages?'

"What the fuck was that? I've never seen a magical beast like that"

"That's no damn magical beast, it's too bizarre to be a living animal"

"Don't waste your breath over whatever that is, I managed to take it out in the end so it's not a problem. We need to press on, we're already running behind schedule. We need to make sure to reach the meeting point or we'll miss out on the opportunity"

Samael peeked from the bushes and saw a group of people in an open place.

But as he was looking at this group of people, his eyes flashed excitedly finding yet more prey that he could vent his anger on. 'Oh, I think this is enough to completely let out my steam...'
