Divine Calamity

"Dawn, hey hey don't you think that guys kind of cute~"

"Airene did you miss everything talking about him being a spoiled brat?"

"Come on... They're just rumors."

'She just doesn't listen does she, it's crazy how she's managed to have 13 boyfriends in one semester...'

Airene a close friend of Dawn is a beautiful girl with brunette hair and emerald eyes, her hair was around shoulder length and she has a peerless figure which is the reason most boys fall for her, her beauty rivals that of Dawns.

Looking slightly annoyed Dawn began twirling her hair.

Sighing and then taking a sip of water she told Airene with a serious voice

"It's been 30 seconds... No contract has ever taken this long."

Airene fell into deep thought after Dawn's words

"I agree, it's quite strange."

Looking up at Malkeith Dawn noticed his indifferent look as if he expects nothing but a failure.

'I kind of hope this guy does well, nobody having expectations is like looking into a mirror... Before I pulled that sword out of a rock I was treated like trash, plus this guy looks exactly like me... And he's kind of cute.'

Dawn sighed and then said while blushing, " I need to calm down."

"Huh? What are you talking about."

"Shut up." Dawn then looked down into her lap

Soon 5 minutes passed, and some people gave up paying attention and just fell into deep thought, Malikeiths expression had changed to one of interest.

At around 6 minutes the magic circle changed to a dark hue, and what was projected above caused everyone's jaw to comically drop. Literally.

"Number 100, Rei Ven-August... Has obtained a Bond with Divine Calamity Dragon."

Malkeith forked out those words in disbelief, even though he knew that was impossible. Those thoughts moved by quickly, he knew that if a dragon formed a bond with someone they had to be in this forest. To assure everyone's safety he immediately flew up into the air and began reading every single monster in the forest location. He knew he would anger some of the more powerful monsters, but it didn't matter if a dragon was there it would be a problem for not just the human domain but the entire planet.

Waking up to the silence I had a triumphant smile on my face, seeing everyone's expression.

'That old man when overboard...'

Taking notice of the changes I began understanding how truly powerful dragons were, I could tell that all the organs in my body slightly changed and some of them were even gone, all my muscles were perfectly relaxed and felt stronger, I had grown taller, 2 long fangs were in my mouth, my nails had become sharp and animal-like, and my pupils had contracted similar to my grandfathers. The biggest change of all was the new source of power, I understood what it was instantly almost like it was instinct.

This power was my Draconic Force, similar to a Mana Heart it represented my power. The Draconic force and Mana Heart were much different, Draconic Force was my natural power, and Mana Heart was like an organ considering it could be destroyed crippling you.

In my thought I noticed Malkeith flying up and understood what he was doing, since no dragon was there I had to stop him and show an example so they don't snoop around.

'Here goes nothing.'

I slowly raised my hand to the sky and everyone's attention fell on me, including Malkeith who was in the sky. And then I exerted pressure called Draconic Will, it was essentially me suppressing others by using my lineage. Everyone in the venue took a knee and Malkeith began to descend prepared to enter combat. Knowing this guy could blast me in smithereens instantly, I released the pressure a small bit not wanting to get killed.

Not even moments after my voice rang out and I released my pressure completely, "Archon Malkeith, do not continue your search. The dragon isn't in this forest and bothering whatever is here could endanger everyone, if you don't believe me I'll Mana Vow with you that the dragon isn't anywhere near this forest, or perhaps even the planet currently."

Instantly descending in front of me Malkeith looked me in the eyes for a few seconds before saying, "forget the Mana Vow. I have an opportunity for you Rei Ven-August."

'He's probably gonna invite me to the academy.'

"Please attend the Central Empires academy, I believe we can bring the most out of your talent in the empire."

'I knew it.'

He reached out his hand with a smile, and I smiled back and shook it.

"I am honored for this opportunity Archon Malkeith."

After the event ended I headed home through the warp gate informing my father of what took place, my father had already known about my mother's lineage and predicted this would happen, he was hoping I would have met my mother although. My father is truly a madman hooking up with a dragon no, not a regular dragon a Dragon Princess is not a simple feat.

My father allowed me to attend the academy since he was going to send me off at 20 years old he thought the earlier the better anyways, after a week I was promised carriage to the academy it would have been much better to use a warp gate but this world is never simple, warp gates to the empire were banned due to security reason but a warp gate from the empire to another location was allowed... And while humanity was on good terms it would be strange to allow possible enemies to install a warp gate that only can be activated for their end.

1 week passed.

Getting on the carriage I looked back at my family, Haru, in particular, she was sad that she couldn't come... 'Although I'm glad I was able to leave, with my new Draconic Physique all my human imperfections were fixed, I'm basically the peak of beauty now, it was getting awful weird, even my father would stare at my face for a bit... I could tell it was a proud look but I cannot say the same for the servants and even my sister, they all blatantly stared at me in conversations enough to creep me out... Even my BROTHER stared at me, I am a narcissistic person myself this seems like it would be great but it really isn't, after all, I've always been handsome It's just that now it's an issue.

"Good morning class, I have a few announcements for you starting with a new transfer student, you may come in."

Walking in I glanced at the class, seeing a few familiar faces then looking at the professor. Professor Ythir Elune was an Elven girl who looked youthful with platinum hair and bright green eyes, she was quite beautiful and I started to think that maybe it's a trend that professors are pretty...

"Introduce yourself."

Nodding to my professor, I looked back towards the class and with a sincere look I said, "Hello everyone, I am Rei Ven-August and It's a pleasure to meet you." I then took a slight bow.

"You can sit anywhere you want."

I took a seat in the furthest row from the door towards the right.

"This is going to be an interesting few years."

I muttered to myself meeting all the eyes and taking quick glances at me.
