Upon hearing Honoka's somewhat cool words, Homura couldn't help but feel nostalgic.
Honoka truly grew into a leader's role!
"Yosh, leave it to me!"
Homura raised his thumb with a grin.
"However, there might not be as many suitable roles for everyone. We might need a few extras for roles like female students or pedestrians."
What he said was indeed the truth.
Not only were there only a few main roles, but when considering suitable voices, it became even fewer.
"We understand that. Wanting to play nine main roles at once is impossible... unless it's about idols." Eli nodded, showing no surprise.
The other girls also understood.
It was quite a pressure to start in such important roles right away, so it was better to become familiar with the routine by voicing some extras. Besides, as long as Homura was around, there would be plenty of time and opportunities to voice better roles.
"By the way, there's actually an anime about idols coming up that needs your voices." Homura smirked. "Nine main characters at that."
Seeing Homura's expression, the girls all knew which anime he meant.
However, the thought of voicing themselves felt quite peculiar.
"After the open day, I'll start training all of you in voice acting techniques. Let's do our best!"
Homura's final encouragement was for their performance and their training.
All the girls understood, and they were now filled with determination. What intrigued them the most was the idea of voicing themselves. It sounded like a lot of fun and made them eager for voice-acting training.
Later, the group of ten, including a cat, took a stroll around the school.
They shared their recent experiences with Homura, who continued to compare them to the original work in his memory. However, they couldn't stick strictly to the original story because in his manga, Eli had not yet joined Muse.
As they walked and chatted, they occasionally saw students engaged in club activities, but most of the attention was on Homura.
Fortunately, no one approached them, as they merely observed from a distance.
Seeing this, Homura was a bit puzzled.
Why didn't anyone greet him like before? Did they not recognize him or were they intimidated by Muse?
Apparently, it was because Eli had asked everyone at the club meeting before to not disturb him.
===
Finally, they arrived at Muse's sacred place, the school's rooftop.
Homura sat against the wall and then started working on chapter six of 'Love Live!'.
Once again, they marveled at Homura's insane drawing speed. Despite having seen him draw many times, they couldn't help but still be amazed.
In chapter six, Nico's ambitions to take the lead were portrayed vividly.
Maki and Rin held back their laughter as they watched the scene in the manga. Although in reality, Nico didn't do everything depicted in the manga, she had done quite a few similar things.
It could be said that there was no sense of dissonance when reading this manga. Even Nico herself felt like she had actually done those things.
At the end of the chapter, as Hanayo made her entrance at a critical moment, Homura stopped his hand movement, finishing chapter six.
Meanwhile, Hanayo blushed slightly, feeling somewhat embarrassed.
"When will 'I' join Muse..." Eli said, looking helpless.
"Hahaha..." Honoka and Nozomi both laughed uncontrollably.
"Soon."
After answering Eli with a smile, he ignored the girls' surprised looks as he began drawing Chapter Seven.
However, after a while, Eli's forehead bulged with veins.
"I'm not joining yet?! What's more, I'm starting to look more like the antagonist if this continues!" Eli exclaimed, frustration evident in her voice.
"Calm down, alright. In the next chapter, you'll join." Homura reassured her. "Moreover, it'll make it all the more realistic, you know?"
"Yup!" Nozomi nodded in agreement. "Eli-chi's actions in Homura-kun's manga are exactly what Eli-chi would do in reality."
"Nozomi!" Eli gritted her teeth. "Why are you always bullying me!"
Ignoring Eli's tantrum, Nozomi grinned unapologetically and turned to the other girls.
"What do you all think?"
"Umu! It's so real! Very, very real!" Nico couldn't stop nodding. "It perfectly captures everything about Eli!"
"Thank God Kotori-chan met Homura-kun; otherwise, we'd have to deal with Eli-chan like in the manga!" Honoka patted her chest in relief.
"Is that so...? Do you want to give it a try?" Eli, lurking behind Honoka, sneered.
"Ehh!" Honoka jumped, thoroughly startled. "Don't wanna!"
Homura, wearing an amused expression, watched as the group of girls erupted into chatter.
After tidying up the manga manuscript, he spoke up.
"Chapter eight will be about the open day, so I'll have to draw it later."
Hearing his words, Kotori thought for a moment and asked.
"Homura-kun, will you be coming to the open day?"
As soon as Kotori asked that question, the others couldn't help but look over, curious about Homura's answer.
"Isn't that obvious? I'm coming not just to watch your live performance, but for the manga as well." Homura nodded calmly.
Upon hearing his answer, Kotori felt like her question might have been a bit dumb.
"By the way, are you all mentally prepared?" Homura asked the nine girls.
"Don't worry, Homura-kun! We've been prepared for a long time!" Honoka nodded vigorously.
"It's not that... what I meant was, are you prepared for the overwhelming number of visitors? I doubt the school can accommodate too many people." Homura shook his head.
As the nine girls exchanged hesitant glances, Eli couldn't help but speak up.
"Homura-kun, you do know that only girls in third-year middle school and their relatives are allowed to attend the open day, right?"
"Huh? Didn't Kotori just ask me if I was coming?" Homura blinked in confusion and pointed at himself.
"Yes, but you'll have to bring a girl in third-year middle school with you. Otherwise, even you won't be allowed in, y'know." Nozomi nodded matter-of-factly.
Homura couldn't help but feel embarrassed, since he had assumed anyone could come.
Nevertheless, it made sense.
After all, it was an all-girls school, so there had to be some restrictions.
"So, on that day, I should bring either Elf, Muramasa, Nayu, or Izumi, huh?" Homura muttered to himself.
Coincidentally, all four of them were third-year middle school students, even though Elf, Muramasa, and Nayuta hardly attended school at all.
Bringing everyone from Another Dimension wasn't possible because high school students like Utaha, Eriri, or Megumi needed to attend classes, while he himself would have to take a day off from school.
"Those girls..." Nozomi pondered, stroking her chin. "I think Nayuta-chan and Elf-chan would be interested?"
Homura nodded in agreement.
Elf was mainly for fun, and as for Nayuta, maybe she just wanted to spend time with him.
"I'll ask them when I get back."
After saying that, Homura stood up.
"Alright, let's go. Next will be the last stop."
The last stop was none other than the room of Idol Research Club.
