The Red Lands (3)

This was the reason why Caius had killed that red-skinned warrior with a single, sharp blow.

The warriors of this small tribe could only be considered minions of the alien race—mid-level warriors—but these minions are strong. This was something that Caius could not deny, and that was why he did not want to cause trouble if he could avoid it. However, one just had to spot him in the blanket of fog, and thus he had no other choice but to start the worst plan in his head: to kill or to be killed.

In the basin, once the headless body of the red-skinned warrior fell, the other warriors in the tribe immediately stood up and looked around like a pack of hungry wolves. Their first reaction to the sudden attack was not to panic but to find and kill the enemy.

With the white fog as a layer of concealment, these warriors of the alien race would not be able to find Caius in a short time.
