Little Liar

This was, after all, because Gilead had eaten these wild berries before. Moreover, he already knew everything about this mountain that he had lived on for so long, so it was just a matter of fact to know everything about it—every leaf, every tree, every blade of grass, every house, and every hidden cave.

How could he not when he could even repeat his past experiences over and over again to change their ending as he wanted and wished for whenever he felt like it?

Venera gritted her teeth to try and get rid of the sour taste in her mouth, as she had just bit into a wild berry, but to no avail. And when she saw just how many wild berries she had picked before were left in her hand, she only felt pain and anguish in her heart.

How could she ever pick up and eat something so sour like this before? Why was she so greedy to pick so many wild berries at once without eating them first? This was a heartbreaking taste for her tongue and her heart. Poor her.
