Women Of The Forelli Clan

Caden chuckled and gave her a quick kiss, making her blush.

"Then Angel it is. Nice one, Rogue." Caden said.

"Thank you, boss."

"Okay. I think we could chill out a bit. We drink, we party because tomorrow, we will go to war." Caden said.

She couldn't understand Caden's words. She slightly smiled when the men cheered and screamed.

The party started and she was stunned when twelve naked girls came inside. They were carrying some food, wine bottles, and glasses.

"You should get used to this, too." Phoenix whispered into her ear.

The music was too loud and the men were laughing that almost echoed in the room, but she heard what Phoenix said.

"Do you always party like this?" She asked.

Phoenix nodded. "The men need some entertainment. Those women were also part of the clan."

She frowned. "You mean members?"

Phoenix nodded. "Yes. They work as a spy and as this."

She bit her lip and looked at Caden. He was sitting on his chair again and was casually talking to Rock.

Her heart breaks for the women who were dancing and serving drinks to the men of the clan. Her vision became blurry and suddenly felt out of breath.

"Princess! Princess! Angel!" Phoenix shouted.

She looked around and saw Phoenix's worried face. The others looked nervous, maybe because Caden would get mad if something happened to her.

"I—I need to go out. Is there a place I could rest? Somewhere quiet?" She asked.

Phoenix nodded. Rogue ran to Caden and maybe told him about it. She saw Caden nod and then the girls brought her to another room.

There was a huge bed inside and a couch fit for four people. There was a television, a fridge, and a closet with men's clothing.

"Here." Cleo handed her a glass of water.

"Is this your first time in this kind of place?" Phoenix asked.

She nodded. "Yes. I just found out about Caden being the boss of the Forelli Clan and he asked me to support him. It's just a bit overwhelming."

"Do you think you could eventually accept everything? You only saw naked girls and you almost passed out." Red commented.

Phoenix glared at Red. "What? I'm telling the truth. Look at her. No offense, but you look weak."

She frowned. "W-What? Weak?"

"The things you saw were just the smallest part of being with the clan. There are a lot more. You can't expect a Mafia Clan to be nice. Well, we're nice but not the way you want us to be. We are an organized crime organization. We can't be called like that if we follow the law." Phoenix said.

"B-But it's hard to—"

She heard Cleo chuckle. "Hard? It's hard because you live in a world of luxury. What you have right now, are just lies. You don't know what and how the real world works because you were sheltered from the day you were born."

She felt Cleo's pain. Maybe she was right. She didn't really know about the struggles of others. She didn't care about the people who were trying to survive. She felt sorry for those women because it was the first time she saw how they work to make a living.

"A—Are you against of the way those women were treated?" She asked.

The girls were surprised by her question. They glanced at each other, but didn't say a word for a moment.

"Even if we're against it, it was their choice. Those girls were saved by the former boss from the hands of the Rossi's." Rogue commented.

"Like Red?" She asked while looking at Red.

Red sighed. "I didn't come from the Rossi's. I was sold by my own parents to work as a prostitute. My father had gambling issues. He was drowning in debt so he sold me. The former boss took me in. I thought he'll make me one of his slaves, but he took care of me like his own daughter. He asked me if I want to be free, and he'll grant it. But I chose to stay and learned to fight instead. It was my choice."

"Those women were given a choice. The boss didn't ask them to use their body. He was against it. But they told him to not worry and that if something happened to them, it wasn't his fault. You see, we're here because we wanted to serve him. You don't need to pity us. We want you to understand." Phoenix continued.

"And don't you think it's annoying if your prince is supported by other women, and you can't? Do you know that he killed many?" Rogue asked.

She gulped. She knew he already did it. When he told her that he caught the men who tortured him, she already knew that he did something terrible.

"But you know, we don't kill just for the sake of killing. Unlike the Trekker Clan, we don't play dirty. We don't kill the innocent. Our war is with the other Mafia Clans who can't support the Crown Prince." Rogue continued.

She frowned. "What do you mean?"

"The royal family can't fight the Trekker Clan without following the law of Flousia and other countries. But we can. We don't care about the law. If we need to torture and kill someone who tried to harm the throne, we'll do it. We don't need permission from the King." Phoenix explained.

Then she remembered what Caden told him. Matthew Forelli, his grandfather, chose him as the successor of the clan because he could never taint his hands with blood if he was the crown prince, but as the Boss of the Forelli Clan, he could.

She took a deep breath and looked at the women in front of her. She didn't know yet all their stories and how they became members of the mafia. But she knew they all experienced something dreadful and that was the reason they were here.

"I want to learn how to defend myself. Can you teach me?" She asked while staring into their eyes.
