The Break Up

As soon as the partition window closed, she snatched her arm to Caden. She saw him tilted his head and clenched his jaw, trying to calm himself.

"So, what's your deal? Do you intend to always humiliate me in front of my men?"

She turned to him and hissed. "What's my deal? Do you realize what you just did?"

A frown flickers across Caden's forehead. "It's not a big deal. I just threatened them to get the information I need. They will not waver if they don't fear me."

"I can't believe you! You're being clouded by revenge, Caden."

Caden threw her a hard look, and his mouth was set in a firm line. She saw a glint of disappointment in his eyes.

"If you just keep on doing what I hated the most, I don't think this will work." She exclaimed.

"Are you breaking up with me?" Caden frowned.

She knew what she said was just because of her anger, but she couldn't take it back anymore. She bit her lip and nodded.
