Jenna tried to tackle the gangster looking woman, but like before, she once again succumbed to her crushing Aikido grip. Jenna pounded on the wall to signal she was in pain, a martial art language to say ‘let me go,’ kind of like with a ‘pretty please.’
“Tell me the truth now! Do you still love my brother or not?” The gangster woman demanded.
“Bek! You of all people should know. He was the one against the whole idea of our marriage!” The gangster woman might look tough and dark on the outside, but Jenna knew she would never hurt her or her daughter.
“That’s true!” Bek finally admitted and released her grip on Jenna. “You used to spoil him rotten though!”
Now standing face to face, the sisters-in-law and best friends hugged each other. Bek pressed her index finger on Jenna’s chest. “Don’t ever spoil your new man!”
“What new man?” Jenna asked as she closed the door.
“I believe his name is Scott!”
“Auntie Bek!”
