CHAPTER SIXTEEN (YEARS LATER)

A young warrior ran in and went on his knees before the king.

"There has been yet another attack. This time, the enemies have taken over three more of our smaller kingdoms into their possession.

Her well-shaped eyebrows raised upon hearing the shocking news.

"This attack began fourteen years ago and until this day we still do not know who our enemies are." She said to the warrior.

"They are gaining more power but how could there be another kingdom with the power of the magic within? Only the Kugama people were given this power." She said to him again.

"How do we fight back when we do not even know who our enemy is and how dangerous he or she is?" King Nenma asked herself.

"My king, my informant was able to see the person's back but my informant ended up coming back blind after seeing it. He claims that the person is strong, his back well-built and firm. His hair was dark. The short hair was plaited at both sides and the center was packed up. Through this description, our enemy has to be a man, my king." The warrior said hoping this would comfort his king.

The king called in the palace maids after he asked the warrior to leave.

"Where is my child?" She asked and they all started looking at each other with questioning eyes. They had no idea where she could have gone.

With its face raised facing the sun amidst the fragrance of different flowers in the field far from the kingdom, a figure was seen breathing in the amazing air and feeling the sun on its face.

My princess!!! Someone called from behind and the figure turned with a beautiful smile on her face. It was a beautiful young girl, a black angel.

She was slightly tall, and she was slender, not because of lack of food, her body clearly showed that it was being well taken care of. Her skin glowed like a newly made Kugama sword by the great Madju, the blacksmith.

"Oh goodness. Is it ever possible for me to escape you?" The princess said to her maid and smiled.

"That is why I am your shadow princess." The beautiful fair maid said in a Beli accent.

The Beli people were part of the kingdoms who came to ask for help from King Bajju years ago when their kingdom was getting attacked. Thereafter, they mixed with the Kugama people but their accents showed that they were still different from the Kugama people.
