CHAPTER TWENTY (A BROKEN QUEEN)

"Truly a disrespectful girl indeed but I have no time for her." The General said and with a strike a single note, she sent Princess Hanra rolling down the high hill into the forest.

After the priestess left the palace, Sangth finally got a chance to speak to the Queen. She bowed before her majesty and said.

"Please forgive me dear Queen but Princess Hanra has snucked out of the palace again."

"Again? Did you find her before? " Queen Memma asked.

"Yes Your Highness I did but after coming into the palace she heard something and said she didn't want you to see her face anymore because it would bring you pain," Sangth replied.

"What did you hear." The Queen asked suddenly restless.

"That she doesn't have the magic within her," Sangth replied and swallowed hard.

"The Queen will be more worried now that she is aware that I know, I should assure her that I will never tell anyone." Sangth thought to herself.

"Sangth, you do know how much I care about you." Queen Memma said looking away.

"I swear on my life that no one will ever get to know of this through me." Sangth quickly said interrupting her majesty.

"Good." The Queen said with relief.

"Summon the guards, they should go out and look for Princess Hanra, You should help them since you know her better than anyone else." Queen Memma said to Sangth and Sangth bowed and left the room.

"After I am done with all these ants, I will be coming for you, my dear sister." The General said with a smile.

"Your sister will now see the true powers of General Nenma of Vang Army." Her Commander said and bowed before her.

"And the soon-to-be King of Kugama Kingdom." General Nenma added.

Princess Hanra was badly hurt and unconscious when she was found the next day by the Kugama soldiers.

Princess!!! Sangth called out with tears in her eyes when she saw the princess in that condition.

"I shouldn't have let you leave, look what happened to you." She said and kept weeping as she knelt beside the princess's bruised body.

When Queen Memma saw her daughter, she was heartbroken and ordered the soldiers to bring the priestess and healers they found in every part of Kugama to the palace immediately.
