CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE (A STORY THAT NEEDS TO BE TOLD)

When the healers and Priestess came, they took Princess Hanra to a carve filled with healing water away from the Kugama kingdom.

The priestess told Queen Memma that her daughter was in grave danger if she remained in the kingdom.

They started her treatment in the carve, her wounds were deep because the musical note struck where her powers should be located in her body if she had it just like every other Kugama child.

"My Queen, I know that I am in no position to question or demand anything from you since I am just a common servant but I would still like to ask your permission," Sangth said to Her Majesty one evening. After a while of complete stillness, the Queen said.

"Go ahead and ask Sangth, your queen gives you permission." Sangth smiled and said,

"Thank you." And then she asked her question.

"Why doesn't the princess have the magical powers every Kugama child has and why does her eyes glow in the night?"

"Such a question from a servant. I do appreciate your courage and I will tell you." The Queen replied to her.

Queen Memma told Sangth the entire story of how she was born, about her sister and how King Bajju her father died, everything.

"Does an Oron (Chosen) exist?" Sangth asked surprised.

"Yes, Nenma is a Chosen." Queen Memma replied.

"Now I know how King Bajju died, it saddens the heart that one's child ends one's life," Sangth said quietly and suddenly asked.

"If I can ask dear Queen where is Princess Nenma now?"

"I banished her." The Queen said.

"When Hanra was born, she wasn't like every other child. On the day she was born, the entire stars and the moon left the sky, there was complete darkness. At the time she was born, the leader of the Izagi Kadu died at the same hour, the same minute and moment Hanra came into this world. She was named Flower because the dead flower in the Tangale shrine where our Dendi (magical lamp) suddenly grew without water or sun, like magic, her eyes would glow at night just like Nenma's eyes" The Queen smiled at the memory.
