Hunter's State

Yuki and Chloe locked their gaze on the man through the glass of the building. With a swift motion, Yuki took flight, carrying Chloe with him as they crashed through the glass entrance and landed smoothly within the building. Yuki deactivated his Ryoku, signaling his readiness for whatever awaited them.

The man's attire was modest, though somewhat unconventional. Yuki wasted no time and cut to the chase. "Are you L?"

A sly smile crept across the man's face as he responded, his voice laced with defiance. "And what if I am? That won't deter you from trying to stop me."

Chloe, ever direct, brought up the pressing issue. "So you go around killing people for some orb?"
