Keisuke.... _Soo...., shall we go?_

Rintarõ.... _Oh er of course yeah. (what the!? is that all?)_

She followed behind him buried in silence. Headed opposite of everyone else, both went straight to food stalls. Rinny would hit, bump into people yet pay little attention to an apology. Her mind was rolling in confusion trying to figure out what move to make. Chaos ruling her head, she felt a gentle touch from the left hand. Simultaneous with the dispersion of a bewildered mind, her head looked up to face the sweetener.

Keisuke.... _Let's walk like this, it's much more safer._

Her lips couldn't move, only pressing a nod while trapped by rising emotions. For a second there she jumped onto an audacious attempt at pulling a daring move. Moments later, stances changed with her head now all wrapped around his left arm. Burden be exclusive to them only as they kept quiet when everyone else was enjoying the festivities. Lit lights were in line with special food stalls. Snatched by the ravishingly full-filling aroma, Rin chivvyed Senami into buying yakitori (grilled chicken on sticks) among other delicacies delighting her stomach that night.

They fed each other, played petty games where most wallets would be torn apart and left without a single dime. Call it talent, skill or something, but _prince charming_ won every last game. By the time it was all ending, Haruno held a teddy bear, three gold fish, and a few other prices most of them being edible. At some point she asked Kei to eat one of his rewards but the boy heaved up a "thanks but no thanks" look.

Time waited for no man as the last event chimed to an almost certainty. Her heartbeat rose in exchange with some kind of emotional idea. She had anticipated the fervent feeling ever since meeting Kei earlier. Finding themselves sitting on a bench beside the water stream, she gazed into the star-lit sky. Clouds sat scattered across tuning in for a rainy weather some time. Memories of her meteor shower view slightly past-flashed before her eyes. She felt her own heart pound for a well known reason.

Much less of a worrisome thing, it seemed to be a joyous occasion instead. Although sitting together with Keisuke only, she could still see people a bit further away looking up the sky.

A while of countdown later, there was a sudden breach in the dark roof's tranquility. The fireworks festival had begun and with it came endless cheers from hundreds of people. Wonderful and big they were, changing colours to mesmerize both the darkness and thrilled citizens' eyes. Everyone faced heavenward except Rintaro. Her eyes were glued to the only person that mattered to her, or at least had begun to matter recently. She was startled a bit when he did the same.

Keisuke.... _It's beautiful isn't it?_

Rintarõ.... _y-yeah it definitely is._

Her mind was barely in the present moment as they stared at each other bound to a loss of words. Suddenly she took hold of his hand, tightly squeezed it and prepared for a difficult yet easy task. First she had to make sure whatever her mouth wanted to say would be heard. So she moved closer to his ear and began whispering what she thought of as a crazy idea.

To be continued.....
