FINAL CHAPTER

Page 94- _Shock Is Just A Phrase_

"No no no this can't be happening!," screamed Rintaro Haruno, almost tripping over an avalanche of dirty clothes. She swooped on her blazer-free white shirt and crimson skirt firing yell after yell. Her morning alarm rang for the umpteenth time and she had snoozed each and every one. Without anyone to stop her careless cycle, she kept slamming the damn thing keeping her in a loop for almost an hour.

"Oh God why today of all days?," she blasted yet another crying shout after taking a ten minute shower. She couldn't take her eyes off the mirror, double checking for any bubblegum stuck on her face or wrinkles from her sleepless night. Done she quickly grabbed her bag and hurried down the stairs. Noticing the cruel time that had left her oversleeping, breakfast was far from her worries let alone least of them. She ran out the door, bashed it to a close and turned the keys on lockdown while the other hand finessed her crimson white striped tie. "Please don't be late!," her voice screamed once more turning into a low pitch as she raced to the station.

Days had passed changing into weeks, and no sooner after finishing her goodbyes at work did time move quickly pushing her to wake up late for school. First day after summer break and she was already conjuring up spells to teleport her tired body onto the Koniaki pavement just on time. Which was more than impossible and insane if she were to even make it. The day before was her last one working as a Durallin Store guide, but damn did it turn out to be more hectic than the rest of her usual. Of which the "usual" were already busy so it meant 10 hours of hell before the first day of her second semester. And no thanks to Ai who came up sick, she had to cover up her job. Endless mopping and guiding that definitely left her whole body crying out for a super long rest.

She checked her phone twice for assurance only to be hit back by stubborn numbers. 7:20 am it read while her express train was scheduled for half past. Picking up the pace, she gave a medal deserving push to her fully recovered body and dashed to the crappy Chūsha station. The white now-yellow tiles built years back made crushing sounds as she stepped over some pebbles spooning in from the cracks. She took one leap into the ready to blast off train and found the whole thing packed. Making an effort to stealthily pass through the crowd, she found herself stuck between an obviously angry about something business man and a steaming hot doctor. She could've sworn meeting the eyes of some boy leering at her.

But important matters up front, all she could do was make a huge effort at praying to get early for homeroom. You would think the first period was easy to dodge a bullet, but Miss Toriumi (Home room teacher) had made it very clear. With the help of her constantly banged stick , she stressed the importance of her first class from the very beginning. And if anything scored her the title "every class' home room lady", that would earn the prize.

Bag tightly held up in her arms, she swam towards the open door tossing a great effort at making it out alive. "Aaah freedom at last!," she shouted while taking a deep breath. As time ticked down so did her mind lose ideas on what excuses to give her friendly but dangerous teacher. In response to the sudden realization, her legs sprinted away from the station headed straight to school. She looked down for the last time and saw 8:21 am while slowing down in front of the school gate. "Oh God i didn't make it in time," her panting voice said as she tackled an effort at breathing in and out.

But lucky for _little miss genius_ grace was on her side. At first it was the loud whispers , and then when she turned to look up, a shock was waiting in store.
