FINAL CHAPTER

Page 95- _Despairing Confusion_

Countless heads were standing on the pavement clasping dozens of cameras. Spiraling into the air were chaotic yells and barely audible questions about something she couldn't quite make out. Lights flashed from the cameras aimed directly at the gate which was on total lockdown. On the school premises were dozens of students all curious about the press standing outside. And not a single student was among the noisy monkey like chattering crowd outside, well Rintaro excluded of course. Shaking in silent shock, she didn't know what to do. Her mind at least knew going in through the front gate would bring attention to herself, and allow the obviously curious media inside school grounds. Suddenly a call came in from her pocketed phone. Thank the heavens she had set it to vibration only. First to spring out in sight was the name Ai.

Merumi.... _Umm Rin, are you ok?. I can see you from the inside but don't look otherwise you will draw attention to yourself._

Rintarõ.... _And exactly how am i gonna do that!?. What's going on?, there's a press crowd in front of the school._

Merumi.... _Uhh hello, i can see that. But that's not important right now. If anyone sees you're late i'll say, there'd be much more trouble then. So i'm gonna need you to listen carefully._

Rintarõ.... _Er ok. But just so you know, we're still not done talking. I'm listening..._

Merumi.... _It's very simple really, all you've gotta do is walk down to the left wing of the school. I'm pretty sure you'll find a small abandoned gate._

Rintarõ.... _How do you know that?, Nevermind don't answer i'm going right now._

Immediately after hanging up, she hurried to the so called small gate near the school soccer field. There she found her friend standing impatiently beside an old leafless fruit tree. The two swiftly moved past the curious students and went straight to class. Luckily it turned out to be a simple hollow room filled with two princes making echo jokes. Although happy about escaping Ms' Toriumi's scary raging face, her heart couldn't shake off the dotting feeling of fear. Having that much commotion on an opening day, things definitely weren't looking good. But soon she was about to find out why as her eyes stared deep into Ai.

Merumi.... _Ok ok enough with the scary eyes, i'll tell you in hindsight._

Rin's face moved closer to Ai trapping her with a guilt feeling as if she'd done something.

Merumi.... _If you still remember that day when you were at the Sasaki General hospital, then you do know what your two friends over here said._

She passed a scary look and smirk at Kei and Hiro, but they remained quiet and motionless. In fact too motionless like they knew what was going on, how bad it was, and how all of it was their fault. She turned back to continue her summary, arms folded and blue eyes rolling in sockets.

Merumi.... _After announcing that they're princes in the presence of the stranger, Dr Akane Kikuchi, which by the way is an actual doctor not an assistant, and has a fiancé who works as a journalist. Miss Akane ran and told her handsome fiancé Kazuo Kikuchi how she had met two children of the Emperor. I take it your mind can handle the processing from here on out._

In a few seconds Rin's eyes snapped open blinking more than anyone in the room could count. Her once mentioned fear had come to light, and man did she feel her guts twist.

*Flashback*

Keisuke.... _Maybe the doc will forget, plus i don't think she actually believes us even though we showed her the feathered necklace._

*Flashback End*

She could still see his for-sure face after promising nothing would happen. When she paused following everyone else's worried looks, her mind realized they were in deep trouble. Silence crept throughout the whole room with nothing but sighs here and then. The chatters outside weren't getting any less noisy, instead they were rising added with a few screams. One moment there were dozens of people shouting and the other, they all vanished. All four mates moved to look outside the windows with eyes faced down below. But shockingly they all found thin air from both sides. The whole media crew was gone and so were the students. When they all turned to look at each other, loud whispers accompanied by a thundering sound escaped from both the floor and outside.

To be continued......
