Chapter 78 – Going to the Heroes’ Cemetery

Third person POV

Then, shortly thereafter, Blaise came to the room and said to Robert and Riana, "Hey, you two, we forgot to see mom and dad's graves at the Heroes Cemetery."

Upon hearing that, Robert and Riana looked at her, and Robert realized it now, responding, "Okay!" Then to Riana, "Hey, do you want to come with us to the Heroes' Cemetery. We're going to visit their tombstones."

"Really? Your parents are dead?" Riana asked back.

"Yes, they are two of the heroes of this town," Blaise explained in response. "They were buried at that cemetery."

"I see," Riana replied back. "Okay, I'll come."

"Great!" Blaise responded to this. "Let's stop by at our house to get some flowers."

And so, Robert, Blaise, and Riana left the shop, with Blaise closing the shop early, and stopped by at Robert's house to get some flowers, which had been planted by Blaise herself, before going through town to the Heroes's Cemetery, which was located east near a river that borders Vanworth. At that cemetery, they saw a lot of tombstones and gravestones in various materials, sizes, and shapes, and started to search for Robert and Blaise's parents' tombstones. Not long after, they found the names engraved on the two marble tombstones. The names were, "James Lightningheart" and "Paula Lightningheart". At the bottom, their birthdates and death dates were also recorded and engraved on the smooth marble, including some epigraphs from loved ones who arranged for the funeral. Robert and Blaise did come, but they didn't remember it at all, thus forgetting where their parents were buried.

"Ah, found it," Robert commented.

"Right here?" Riana asked back.

"Yes, these are the names of our parents," Blaise responded back.

Riana looked at the said tomstones, seeing their names and the looks of the tombstones.

"Are those made of marble?" Riana asked a question.

"Yes," Blaise replied back. "Although it was a bit expensive, but our clan had paid for it."

"I see."

With that, Robert and Blaise placed the flowers, which consists of red tulips and red roses, in front of the tombstones and resumed looking at them while their hands touch each other downwards as the wind blows against them, causing their clothes to move due to the speed of the wind. Riana then did the same in order to respect their parents.

Before six o'clock would strike the bell at the clock tower, the three of them left the cemetery and went back to Robert and Blaise's house, with Riana planning to stay for the night.
