Paulo Hernandez is a Filipino high schooler who got reincarnated into another world after getting killed by a truck.

Spiritual and Elemental Hearts

Later at 6:30 p.m., we arrived at home, and I took a nice, hot bath at the bathroom while Blaise was cooking dinner and Riana at our parents' bedroom changing her clothes. We let her sleep in our parents' room for the night, and Blaise gave her some clothes so she could change. And as I relax in the bathtub, I thought to myself, "I hoped that I would go to that kingdom so I could learn some wind magic. That'll make me more skillful and stronger. And that sounds awesome. I loved living in this world."

By 7:15 p.m., after changing in my indoor clothes, me and Riana went downstairs to the dining room to eat dinner with Blaise. The dinner consisted of roasted chicken with stuffing, mashed and buttered potatoes, and whole wheat bread.

"Wow, did you cook this?" Riana asked.

"Yes, what do you think?" Blaise asked back.

With that we all sat down, and do a prayer gesture. "Thanks for the food."

After that, we grabbed our utensils and started getting food from the larger plates. We then eat up, and we liked it so much.

"Wow, the Roasted Chicken is so tasty and flavorful, big sis," I commented blissfully as I savored the seasoned chicken meat. "Thanks!"

Smiling at me, Blaise responded, "You're welcome, Robert-kun."

She then turned towards Riana. "So, how's the mashed potatoes?"

"It's so buttery and smooth," Riana made her comment. "Thank you. Although we mostly eat potatoes and turkey, it's the first time I eat these tasty mashed potatoes."

"Is that so?" Blaise asked back about the second part of her comment.

She then grabbed two slices of whole wheat bread, sandwiched a piece of chicken meat, and took a bite of it.

Glancing at her, Blaise looked back on her food and resumed eating.

Later after dinner, Blaise was washing the dishes while I wipe the table clean. Riana was at the living room looking at some framed photos of our clan and family.

After I put the damp cloth at the kitchen sink, I went to the living room to look at the framed photos, too.

"So this old man," Riana asked while pointing at the picture of Aaron. "Is he your grandfather or something?"

"Yes, that's Aaron Lightningheart, the current head of the clan," I answered back with an explanation.

"Yeah, and he said that I will be the next head once he passed away."

"Is that so? Do you agree with that?"

"I'm not sure though. I need some training for that as well."

"I see. I hoped you'll make a decision concerning about that. In fact, my father, the current head of all the goblins in Saverfort said that I'll take over once he retired."

"Woah, what? They do that? I thought only males can do that."

Shaking her head to say no, Riana responded, "No, females can take leadership roles, too. We had no gender barriers in our system."

At 8 in the evening, I was at my bedroom writing about my day in my daily journal, in every detail. After that, I did some homework assigned by my teachers for the night. It was pretty difficult, but I did my best though. By 9, I turned off the lights and went to bed for the night.
