Spiritual and Elemental Hearts

At midnight, the door at Robert's bedroom was opened, and Riana went inside. Seeing that Robert is sleeping with his blanket on, Riana, being mostly unemotional with feelings for him, proceeds to go inside the blanket slowly and cautiously and sleep next to him.

Then, moments later, Robert felt something off and turns his body around, only for his body to point at Riana. He then opened his eyes, and, suddenly jolted out of his bed in surprised shock, falling on the floor, and it produces a loud thud. Riana then woke up from the noise and looked at him.

"Riana-chan, w-what are you doing in my bed?" Robert asked as he turned on the lamp.

"I'm kinda lonely tonight," answered Riana back, "so I want to sleep with you tonight."

"Are you that serious?" Robert asked back.

He then thought, "Is this happening, just like in manga stories?"

Then, Riana said to him, "Actually, I had feelings for you."

"What?" Robert replied back in shock.

Again he thought in his mind, "How many girls who had feelings for me? Well, good thing it's only two or three, so it's fine."

So, he took a deep breath, stand up, and responded, "Okay, let's sleep together, just for one night, okay?"

He partially disregarded Riana's feelings for him.

"Okay then," Riana replied back in a monotone voice.

With that, Robert went to bed, laying next to Riana, and wear his blanket, before turning off the lamp.

The next morning, at 5, at the forest nearby, Robert was showcasing his magical skills to Riana all he could without using all of his mana. Riana is observing this while nodding repeatedly every couple of seconds, understanding his skills.

After that, Robert said to her, "And so, those are my magical skills. But I want to learn new ones in the near future, too."

"I see," Riana replied back. "That was awesome."

"Yeah, but I want to sharpen them more and more though."

"Okay, well, it'll be useful in intense battles and fights."

After that, they both sat on a fallen log, and Robert asked, "So, what are you doing here in Peacewood?"

"I'm just here for a meeting with one of our trouble-making goblin divisions," Riana answered back.

"Yes, and that division was the one who tried to abduct Blaise-san."

"Yes, and I give them a warning if they do it again."

"Okay, what will be the punishment then?"

"My father will cut ties with them, and possibly, reported to the Ruler about them since they work as mercenaries for him."

After some time, they both went back home to eat a hearty breakfast. But, Robert doesn't want to tell Blaise about what he did last night since it doesn't involve any sexual intercourse. And Robert doesn't like that.
