Chapter 84 – Zarah’s Wind Magic

Third person POV

Later on, after her servants gave Robert and his friends some snacks and drinks, Zarah explained to them about her magic, which is purely wind magic, in detail. She did this primarily for Robert, who was part-Windheart.

Robert and the others really get what she had said.

"Wow, I didn't know wind magic is much more difficult than other elemental magic," Robert commented.

"Yeah, not gonna lie, Robert-kun," William agreed with him. "I read that it requires more focus and mana, but if you are used to it, the less mana it needed."

"I see," Robert replied while thinking. He then thought, "I dedicated almost all of my mana to lightning magic."

"Dual-magic users had a hard time balancing their dual magical abilities," Zarah continued her explanation, "so they need more time to practice their magic, and sometimes, they need the help of someone."

"Well, Zarah-chan," Robert responded, "my older sister also had wind magic, albeit weaker than yours."

Shocked and surprised that Robert have an older sister, Zarah responded, "What? Older sister?"

"Yeah, her name is Blaise, and she owns a potion shop," Robert positively replied back.

"Really?" Zarah asked back. "Potions?"

"Yes, she makes potions for travelers who pass by in out town," Peter explained in response.

He knows this because he occasionally stops by at Blaise's potion shop for her potions.

"Is that so?" Zarah replied.

"Yes," Robert responded back.

After that, Zarah looked at William and asked, "So, how about you, William-kun?"

"No, I'm the only child," answered William back.

"I see."

At almost 5 in the afternoon, after Robert and his friends finished their snacks and refreshments, Zarah asked a question, "So, do you want me to show my wind magic?"

"Sure thing, I had to be home by 6," Robert agreed in response.

"Yes, sure, sure," Peter added.

And so, they all stand up and went to the house's training fields so Zarah would show her wind magic to them. Not long after, they are now at the training fields. Zarah outstretched her right hand and summon wind magic, blowing the scarecrow targets with normal speed at first, but she gradually consumed more mana, increasing the power and speed of her wind magic. She then readjusted it back to normal.

Robert and his friends were watching this with amazement and astonishing.

After that demonstration, Zarah looked at them and explained, "This is how you control the speed and power of the wind, so as your mana."

"Oh," Robert and William responded back.

Robert then thought, "Much like a volume of a gadget in my previous life."

"Now then, try to summon wind magic by focusing your mana to it," Zarah told Robert.

Without any hesitation, Robert came forward, closed his eyes in focus, and took a quick, deep breath, before outstretching his right hand.

"Now, say Gust!" Zarah said to him.

Robert did so, and he opened his eyes and shouted, "Gust!"

But, moments later, he only managed to summon a small amount of wind.

The rest watched this with curious confusion.

"Uh, did I do it wrong?" Robert asked.

"No, you only focused a small amount of mana to it." Zarah gave her feedback. "You're starting small."

"Oh," Robert responded while putting his hand down.

"You should start training it first thing tomorrow," Zarah suggested, "alongside your lightning magic."

"I see. Okay then."

Then, Peter came forward and said to Robert, "I'll help out then."

Glancing at Peter, Robert responded, "Oh, thanks, Peter-kun."

William then commented, "Wow, Robert-kun, you are going to learn wind magic."

"Yeah, I am," Robert replied back.

At this point, Zarah smiled, and thought, "I think I had feelings for him."
