Spiritual and Elemental Hearts

Later, at 9:55 p.m., while the others are sleeping, I was still awake, looking at the dark ceiling. I was still anxious about assassination plot by my father.

"Maybe I should get stronger so I can survive," I thought. "Only if big sis is here..."

My flow of thinking was interrupted by the sound of a scuffle coming from the rooftop.

The guesthouse had two floors, so I slept in the second floor.

"Yeah, I think so," I continued thinking once more, before falling asleep.

The next morning, at 5:45 a.m., I was at the training fields practicing my earth magic. I was working on my Earth Golems. But the main priority is Earth Blade, which my older brother is an expert of.

Then, someone came to the training fields, greeting, "Good morning, Harold-san."

Startled, I turned around, only to see that it was Mirai, the princess of this nation, who said that.

"Oh, good morning, princess," I greeted back nicely.

She then sat on a bench and asked me what I was doing.

"Training," I replied bluntly, before resuming my training, "so I could fend off elder brother."

"Oh, right, you're being targeted, right?" Mirai commented.

I then finished off a wooden target with a sword made of earth, smashing it into pieces.

Mirai seems to be amazed by it.

"You're quite strong," she suddenly commented.

I then turned around and replied, "Not that strong though. Elder brother is stronger than me and big sis combined."

And then, someone came calling my name.

We then looked at that corner, only to see that it was Robert who called me.

"Morning, sensei!" I greeted.

"You're pretty early," Robert commented.

"Yeah, so I could be prepared for that scenario," I responded.

I then looked at Mirai, who was frozen when Robert was there.

"Why are you like that?" I asked her.

"Um, she's in love with me," Robert answered that question of mine.

Upon hearing that, I was surprised because I know that Marionette is also in love with him.

Robert then nodded normally and bluntly.

"Man, how many girls will be attracted to Ro-sensei?" I asked in my mind.

Later, at 8:01 a.m., we were at the guesthouse's dining room eating breakfast. I found out from Mirai that her father, the shogun, was holding an early meeting with the General Council, the governing body of this nation, and Headmaster Sol regarding the protection plan for me.
