Third person POV
Meanwhile, at the Kawasaki clan estate, at the dinner table, Sora was not eating his meal and instead pondering and reflecting on his actions.
Then, his father noticed that and asked, "What's wrong, son? You don't like the food?"
"No, it's just my actions to someone else," Sora responded back.
He then ate up.
"Why? You did something not good?" Sota asked him.
"Yeah."
"What did you do?" Sora's mother asked.
"I was rude to my opponent and his friends," Sora admitted.
"I see," Sota replied. "Anything else?"
"I created fake names for that person's friends."
"Why?"
"It's because I didn't know their names."
"Well, you should've asked. It's called common sense."
"Yeah, I know. I should've."
Thinking about this, Sota suggested, "How about this? By tomorrow morning, at the tournament, before you battle, why not apologizing to them? I'm sure they'll forgive you."
Sora then looked at him and let a slight smile. "Thanks, dad. You know what? I'm going to change my view on winning. Robert-kun said to me that winning is nothing at all."
"We know you're the pride of our clan," his mother said, "but you should also consider other people's feelings."
"Yeah, exactly, mom," Sora agreed with him. "By tomorrow, I'll apologize to them."
"Okay, go for it," Sota replied back. "By the way, you should watch out for the Akuma clan. I heard they're going to assassinate someone tomorrow morning."
Sora was shocked. "Really? Who?"
"Apparently Harold, the prince of Vanworth," Sota responded.
"That's his name?"
His father nodded. "Yes."
At this point, Sora was upset about the assassination on Harold, and was determined to prevent that from happening.
Meanwhile, back at the inn, Lain's servant reported to him about the meeting with the shogun.
"I see," Lain responded. "Thanks for the info."
He then gave him a small bag of gold coins as a reward, and said to him, "Here you go. You may eat at the restaurant and rest up."
His servant complied and accepted the reward, before leaving the inn room to eat a late dinner at the inn restaurant.
After that, Lain turned to his futon and thought, "I'll help out. I don't want this person to end up being dead for nothing."
Although this is considered treasonous, Lain will risk everything for Harold's sake.
