They are all dead

Diego's Point Of View

I woke up the next morning in bed, tangled up in the sheets. In my arms was my mate, Allyssa and the magical memories of last night were still fresh in my thoughts.

I could remember how she made me feel so alive last night. I have never felt so warm and as happy as the moment I shared with her made me. When we became one, and when our skins were deep into each other, it was magical. Both of our energies collided into one and so did we making a beautiful symphony.

I looked over at her as she was fast asleep laying on my chest, it was beautiful seeing her like this–so calm and at peace. Seeing her this way without the crippling fear that always plagued her eyes or without the constant looking over her shoulder for the next tragedy to happen made me happy. I soon realized that her happiness was intertwined with mine and I had a purpose for once in my unfortunate life and it was to always make her happy.
