"It's so weak." Albrecht accidentally let out upon seeing the Goblin King's stats.

To his surprise, he said it when silence settled on the group. This made Hex double back on Albrecht since he mentioned that the Goblin King was so weak.

"W-what do you mean?" Hex asked. Perhaps they were seeing the Goblin King a little differently. Maybe an illusion enveloped the Goblin King and that's why Albrecht commented something like that.

Then again, they didn't see anything wrong with the Goblin King. Either Albrecht was mistaken, or he was simply poking fun at the Goblin King without prior knowledge or information about it.

They opted to believe the latter. After all, it was already known that Albrecht haven't encountered a goblin in his life as an adventurer.

Before anyone could figure out what Albrecht meant, the goblins were already swarming them. Just from their movements alone, Hex could tell that these goblins were more powerful than the previous wave.

Three goblins jumped on him, and he immediately blocked them with his shield. However, they were able to outmaneuver his shield and stab him on the wrist with their wooden stakes.

Once he was stabbed, the other goblins started screeching at each other as if to report something. The horde then shifted their target, and they started going after Erwin Knighthood and Natalie Holmes.

Usually, the goblins would move as a horde, but they would target everyone in the party. That's why it felt a bit odd that the goblins totally ignored Hex after stabbing him on the wrist.

Albrecht turned towards Hex who held his wrist with his left hand. "Poison, you were poisoned," Albrecht called out as if Hex hadn't realized it yet.

"I know," Hex grunted. "Sylvia, you still have those antidotes, right?" He asked.

Sylvia fervently nodded her head before throwing a potion bottle at Hex.

[Status: Poisoned]

[Type of poison: Whitegrass Poison (C-Rank)— a common poison extracted from whitegrass. It bore great resemblance to Violet Haze Poison which is the normal poison that goblins use. It is hard to distinguish between the two, and that's why no one knew about the existence of the Whitegrass Poison. Signs include blood coagulation, fading consciousness, ruptured organs, and blood vessels. It is a slow-acting poison.]

It didn't take long before Erwin and Natalie were stabbed as well. Just like their party leader, they were poisoned.

Obviously, the goblins aimed to poison them instead of fighting it out until the bitter end. And this was all thanks to the elaborate commandeering of the Goblin King.

With his A-Rank Skill, King Goblin's Command, he was able to formulate a highly detailed plan and order his subordinates about it. He was the real mastermind behind the thought-out strategy.

Up until now, Hex wasn't all that alarmed since he was aware of Violet Haze Poison. He was confident that the antidote would work.

Sylvia and the rest of the group were confident about it as well. However, it gave them a weird feeling when the goblins didn't even go after their antidote.

Something really weird was transpiring here.

At the moment, Albrecht already knew the gist of the situation. Before he could say anything, though, Hex was already grunting in pain as some of his blood vessels ruptured. "Sylvia.. the antidote... it's not working." Hex said.

Blood slowly came out of his mouth as his vision dimmed.

Then, as if on cue, the goblins' gaze then shifted toward Albrecht and Sylvia. They were the only ones who weren't poisoned yet.

"Sylvia," Albrecht muttered as he assumed a fighting stance. "You've hunted goblins in the past, right? Do you happen to have Violet Haze Poison in your limited storage space?"

It was a weird question to ask, especially when they were about to be jumped by a horde of goblins, numbering hundreds if not thousands.

Nodding her head, Sylvia promptly replied. "Yes, why?"

"I'll hold them off. For now, just apply a small dose of Violet Haze Poison on the others." Albrecht called out. "Please trust me on this one, otherwise your party members would die.

Hex, Erwin, and Natalie overheard what Albrecht said, and they were hesitant about it at first. However, after thinking about it... they were already poisoned anyways.

What could an increase in dosage do when they were already poisoned?

"DO IT!" The three of them screamed all at once.

[Skill 'Causality Slash Activaed]

[Skill 'Chronos Reversion' Activated']

[Causality Slash (Unique, ?-Rank)— Spatial Slash's ultimate form. It can cut through anything physical and energy-based. An unstoppable slash that can cut even through the laws of space and time itself.]

[Chronos Reversion (Unique, SS-Rank)— with the blessing of the space and time continuum, one can reverse time. As long as it's within the second anything can be reversed]

Albrecht repeatedly used his Chronos Reversion since he had already activated it. To him, the goblins moved in slow motion, but to everyone, they were moving at the normal pace.

Using his Causality Slash skill, Albrecht started defeating the goblins with it. He made sure to act like he was punching or kicking the goblins so it wouldn't look like he was shooting anything from his hands.

To him, he was slicing and dicing up the goblins while they slowly close in on him.

However, to Hex and everyone else in the Spiderweb party, Albrecht was consecutively slapping and kicking the goblins and they kept on dying.

They started getting more agitated. Even the Goblin King who was watching from afar felt like he had to do something.

"Sylvia! What are you waiting for?" Albrecht turned his head towards Sylvia who was fixated on him.

"Right!" Sylvia spoke with resolve.
