Dungeon Appraiser's Verdict— A Double Dungeon

Fwip~!

The sound of air being sliced was heard as Albrecht ducked. He then rolled forward before slashing the Goblin King's Stomach with his skill 'Sword of the Cosmos'.

With a pained groan, the Goblin King fell down as it held its stomach. Its organs spilled out of the stomach cut, and green blood and guts flowed on the ground.

It was a pretty one-sided fight, and just as Albrecht said, the Goblin King was weaker than expected.

It was even weaker than the Tri-Horn Minotaur, and Albrecht managed to defeat the Tri-Horn Minotaur with one slash.

The only reason why he didn't do that was because he wanted to hide his true abilities from the Spiderweb Party. This way they won't accuse him of falsifying his rank or anything like that.

Hex and the others were pretty much done dealing with the goblin horde. Even Albrecht was surprised that they were able to survive such staggering numbers.

He was finishing up with the Goblin King as well, and the F-Rank Dungeon was pretty much done.

Goblin corpses were piled up on the ground. And once again, the entire party set to work on cutting off the right ear of every goblin so they could earn more money.

"I'll take the Goblin King in my spatial storage, would that be all right?" Albrecht voiced out. Quite frankly, he was delaying so he won't have to touch another dead body again.

Hex, who had already cut off five right ears, turned towards Albrecht. "You can fit that thing in your spatial storage? Sure, go ahead. It'd be much better if we could bring the corpse to the guild to prove the kill."

Without further ado, Albrecht opened up his spatial storage and slowly put the corpse of the Goblin King in there. He was stalling so much, but after a couple of minutes, he felt a tad bit guilty so he helped with the 'ear-cutting' anyways.

'I still have the corpse of the Tri-Horn Minotaur as well. I should probably do something about it so to get more money.' Albrecht said to himself after cutting his third right ear.

The ritual of going after one corpse to another and cutting ears took about half an hour. Even though there were probably more than a thousand goblins, the efficiency of the Spiderweb party amazed Albrecht.

It was clear that they were experts when it came to dealing with goblins.

Meanwhile, at the Caharsa Guild,

It had already been a couple of days with no news of Albrecht whatsoever. And since Yulie grew increasingly worried, she had decided to check up on his status on the database to see if he was currently undertaking a mission.

She made the right call. After all, the Spiderweb Party recently signed a contract to recruit Albrecht, and it was immediately recorded in the database.

And since Yulie could access it anytime, being the guild master and all, she was able to pinpoint Albrecht's whereabouts.

"An F-Rank Dungeon? It's an exclusive dungeon owned by the Rilegarthe Guild." Yulie pursed her lips.

The location was listed right there, and she could go there and look for Albrecht if she wanted to.

However, she had duties in the Caharsa Guild as the guild master. She couldn't just leave and leave everything to the receptionist.

Particularly, the receptionists weren't having a hard time, and Yulie was just overthinking things.

Letting out an exhale, Yulie succumbed to her inner thoughts and she quickly packed, determined to leave. "I'll be going out for a bit." She said to herself.

Since it was almost nighttime, the receptionists believed that Yulie wanted to leave early since she was tired so they didn't stop her. They didn't know that she headed straight to the Kingdom of Rilegarthe to check up on Albrecht.

Her instincts told her that she had all the right to be worried so she didn't think twice about taking a horse-drawn carriage all the way there. It would've been faster if she had taken a horse, but she didn't want to inconvenience the guild by borrowing one when the guild might need it.

Outside the F-Rank Goblin Dungeon,

A commotion rose outside the F-Rank Dungeon as Sun Wu examined the closed Zecian Portal. It was supposed to be an F-Rank Dungeon.

However, the Zecian Portal was now closed on both sides. Usually, A-Rank Dungeons close when a party enters and it wouldn't open unless the dungeon were cleared.

It had all the characteristics to be an A-Rank Dungeon, and Sun Wu couldn't help but worry.

"Let's call a Dungeon Appraiser. We have one in the guild, right?" One of the adventurers who were there suggested a good idea, and Sun Wu didn't waste any time contacting their guild for an appraiser.

The Dungeon Appraiser is an adventurer who has the power to gauge the level of a dungeon. Usually, a Dungeon Appraiser is called when a new dungeon opens up.

But there were also times when the appraisal was wrong, or the dungeon changed over time and another appraisal was needed.

Hence, calling a Dungeon Appraiser is actually a normal occurrence.

After two hours or so, the Dungeon Appraiser finally arrived. Yulie also arrived on the spot as well, and she had a lot of questions in her mind since a group of adventurers was gathered in front of the supposed F-Rank Dungeon.

"What's going on?" She asked herself as she approached the crowd.

As if to answer her question, the Dungeon Appraiser cleared his throat and announced his appraisal. "I've checked the Zecian Aura readings of this Dungeon and it couldn't be called an A-Rank Dungeon. Based on my readings, it is closer to becoming an S-Rank Dungeon. In other words... it's a Double Dungeon."

"A Double Dungeon?!" The gathered adventurers exclaimed.

A Double Dungeon is neither an A-Rank nor an S-rank Dungeon. Based on the name, it is a dungeon containing two dungeons inside. In this case, the dungeon was technically an F-Rank Dungeon connected to another A-Rank Dungeon.

"Yes, it is a Double Dungeon," The Dungeon Appraiser confirmed, much to everyone's surprise.
