Double Boss Dungeon (A-Rank?!)

Albrecht's mouth hung open when he saw the two windows that popped up in front of him. He was expecting the Ghost Metal Knight to come out any time soon, but he wasn't expecting another companion in this dungeon.

While the other dungeon he just cleared was a Double Dungeon, this one was a Double Boss Dungeon.

"Are you kidding me right now? Seriously?" Asvi Winefield couldn't help but voice out his frustration as he watched the two gigantic knights slowly saunter toward them.

"This is a dream, right?" Lucius Harvesta also couldn't believe what was happening. He rubbed his eyes twice and pinched his cheeks, but the monsters didn't disappear. This was a nightmare and he won't be waking up any time soon.

Craig Herculean, the brown hair and brown-eyed tanker of the group, also didn't want to accept the grim future. Getting stomped by monsters was a worse fate than death, and for a moment, he felt like retreating. However, he knew that the world was depending on him, and they have to stop the horde of Ghost Metal Knights and the Dungeon Bosses right then and there.

"Everyone, stay behind me, I'll be taking their aggro." Since Yulie Rosethorn was out of commission, Craig took it upon himself to lead the group. He was in the middle of the horde, but he didn't think twice about taunting all of them. He didn't dare withdraw at the last second, fully trusting his teammates that they'd be able to clear the dungeon before he ran out of Zecian Aura.

Skill 'Taunt (A-Rank)' activated.

Skill 'Immovable Mountain Of Old' activated.

Craig let out a ferocious roar that resonated within the horde and the two boss dungeons. In a split second, the Ghost Metal Knights looked at him, enraged. They surrounded him in an instant and then started hacking and slashing at him as if he was a log.

"Garam, Sasha, let's move." Lance Jackalope equipped his lance, charging at the monsters. He started screaming, probably to hype himself up and the others.

"We have to move as well. If we work together, we can bring them down." Asvi also called his teammates. Even though it was supposed to be Albrecht who'd be commanding them, he used his spot as a leader to order his party around.

Not that Albrecht minded it, though. In fact, he'd have told them to engage the Ghost Metal Knights as well, so Asvi's command didn't really go against his decision.

"I guess I have to deal with those two, huh," Albrecht spoke to himself while eyeing the Ghost Metal Knight Commander and the Ghost Metal Frost Knight.

The two of them were five stories tall, and they both wielded broadswords. The only difference was, the Ghost Metal Knight Commander had the dark element, while the Ghost Metal Frost Knight had the ice element. They were formidable, but Albrecht knew he could take them down— individually.

But right now was a different topic altogether. Both of them were there, so he had no choice but to fight them together.

"Yukina, I'll be counting on you. Keep the Ghost Metal Knight Commander at bay." Albrecht said as he charged at the Ghost Metal Frost Knight.

Nodding her head, Yukina Medusa got out of the Summoner's Ring, making a beeline towards the Ghost Metal Frost Knight. She had no idea why Albrecht would engage the weaker boss dungeon first, but she didn't bother asking him about it.

"Oi! Abrecht!" Seeing that Albrecht was running straight at the boss, Craig panicked as he called out to him. He was well aware that Albrecht was powerful despite being a Bronze Rank Adventurer, but he doubted he'd be able to take down a B-Rank Dungeon Boss all by himself.

That's when they saw another figure running toward the other dungeon boss. They immediately recognized her as Albrecht's companion, Yukina Medusa.

"What are they doing? Are they crazy?!" Asvi screamed. He badly wanted to take the spotlight and help Albrecht with the subjugation of the dungeon boss. Then again, he couldn't even walk past the horde of Ghost Metal Knights.

That's why the two groups had no choice but to deal with the horde while Albrecht and Yukina dealt with the two dungeon bosses.

The Outerlayers are filled with Zecian Aura, the deeper one goes in the outerlayers, the more potent the Zecian Aura was. That's why people with no Zecian Aura couldn't become adventurers, and only those with sophisticated control of their Zecian Aura could actually survive the harsh environment of the outerlayers.

At the Fifth Outerlayer, the Zecian Aura isn't that potent, but it was potent enough to be used by adventurers to replenish the Zecian Aura in their bodies.

That's why those who could utilize the Zecian Aura could replenish it from the outerlayer's atmosphere. It was like oxygen, but the replenishment is slow, especially when one was almost drained of Zecian Aura.

When Yulie Rosethorn was brought out of the Zecian Portal, she was severely unconscious, but that didn't last for long.

In less than ten minutes, her Zecian Aura was somewhat rejuvenated, and she slowly regained consciousness. As her eyes stirred, the red skies of Ground Zero greeted her. She blinked a couple of times, wondering why she was sleeping outside when she'd never done it before.

And that's when the memories of the recent boss dungeon flashed in her mind. She instantly got up, a bit disoriented, and started searching for the B-Rank Dungeon. To her surprise, she was actually at the foot of the Zecian Portal. Just a couple of steps and she'd be inside it, once again.

"Albrecht!" She uttered, determinedly stepping inside the Zecian Portal to rejoin everyone in the fight.

However, before she entered, a hand rested on her shoulder, stopping her short in her tracks.

"It'd be nice if you could step back, ma'am." An unfamiliar face addressed Yulie, causing her to step back in bewilderment.

"My name is Angelina Foyer, a Dungeon Appraiser." Angelina introduced herself as she extended her hand. Yulie didn't bother shaking her.

In an awkward manner, she retracted her hand before clearing her throat. "We believe... that this dungeon had recently evolved into an A-Rank Dungeon... and it might even be an S-Rank. We just have to make sure... but don't worry, reinforcements are on the way." She concisely explained, lightly pushing Yulie to the side.

However, Yulie was not having it. "I'm sorry, but my friends are inside. Appraise the dungeon, sure, but I'm going in. Right now." Yulie firmly told her before pushing her aside.
