Out Of Seclusion

"Well, I've done everything I needed to do already. I still have more time left before I said I would come out. Should I start refining one of the elements?" Lei Jin thought to himself.

After a short ponder he decided he would test the waters so to speak. And since he had all 7 elements with him he need not worry about choosing a more dangerous one first. He floated in the air cross legged and began to infuse the Wood element into his Dao Seal. It was, after all, one of the two least dangerous elements. Thus it was perfect for the tests he had to attempt.

The power of the Wood Element began to slowly pour into Lei Jin's Dao seal. Once it reached a certain point the power began to fade from his Dao Seal. This was a Reaction that he had not expected. So he decided to stop refining their power for the time being. Almost immediately after he stopped, the small amount of Wood Element he had refined completely disappeared.

"Interesting, it is as if nothing even happened." Lei Jin thought after seeing the phenomenon happen before his very eyes.

Lei Jin took some more time and inspected his Dao Seal more. It had become a faint bit stronger. It wasn't much, but considering that the power increased at all just from something so small was enough to give Lei Jin a few ideas.

"The Primordial Elements… They have the power to create their own elements through the power of chaos. But if there is some kind of interference, the energy just fades away into nothing. But, that can't be it. We use them to create incredibly stable Artifact Worlds from scratch. So their power can't just vanish. I wonder, am I fated to refine all 7 at the same time?" Lei Jin thought as he continued to recall all of the experiences he has had when it came to the Artifact World Refinement.

"If I really do need to do that, I should try to figure out if there are any differences in the materials' effects on my Dao Seal. The more I practice these things the better it will be for my children in the future. They will naturally share some degree of similarity to my Rainbow Light Divine Body. Let's make it easier for them then." Lei Jin said, pulling out a different element.

For the remainder of the days he spent in seclusion he researched the ins and outs of all the various effects on his Dao Seal, with each individual Primordial Element.

"Well, it seems as though each of the Primordial Elements are testing my Dao Seal in some way. Though I can't figure out if it is supposed to be a test or preparation for the eventual refinement of those resources. I'll need some more time to figure that out for myself. There is still not enough time for all of the problems I have. Here's hoping that everyone can finally stop acting against each other." Lei Jin sighed walking towards the door.

~~Outside Lei Jin's Private Seclusion Room~~

"Ah! Great Papa, there are two things to report." The two attending to the Room said in unison.

"Indeed, you two have done well. Make sure you get some rest now." Lei Jin said, patting their heads.

"Does this mean that Great Papa already knows about the two things?" One of the two asked.

"Ah! Ehehe Great Papa's head pats are the best!" The other said, smiling happily.

Both of them were still fairly young but were old enough to help out. They ended up being part of the group that watches over key points where Lei Jin would appear. It was all so they could get their fill of him. You see, every child raised in the Rainbow Residence was constantly told by their parents just how important and caring Lei Jin was to them. This turned into a sort of reverence and respect.

"I naturally know of everything that happens inside my Residence." Lei Jin said, vanishing from the area.

First Lei Jin appeared in a courtyard where Supreme Elder Hong had been waiting for him to arrive. There were a decent amount of Ink Disciples being suppressed inside his Small Universe. This was one of the two things that the young maids had been talking about.

With Lei Jin showing up, Supreme Elder Hong relaxed a bit and let all of the Ink Disciples out of his Small Universe. Of course with Lei Jin being used to the situation by now these Ink Disciples were far easier to cure.

"It's a good thing you showed up. I was about to go and ask Qing Ning to take care of it." Supreme Elder Hong chuckled nervously.

"It's good that you didn't. I would have been quite upset if I found out. She shouldn't be doing anything so strenuous as this. Now, I have other things to do. Forgive me Father-in-law but do you mind helping out with the Re-kindled Ones whenever you have time." Lei Jin said before vanishing again, not giving Supreme Elder Hong the chance to respond.

"Haizz… I guess I deserve this for thinking about asking a pregnant woman to relieve me of these struggles." Supreme Elder Hong sighed, knowing exactly why he just got the babysitting duty dumped on him.

Lei Jin next appeared outside the Guest house where those five women were staying. The ones who practiced the method of ascending beyond the chains limits to break through another level. He came here for two reasons. First he wanted to check in on the progress those five had made. And second, his wives were here as well. This time the door was open so Lei Jin just simply walked inside.

"My wives look absolutely stunning in their outfits. You are all visions." Lei Jin said, as he entered and saw with his own eyes just how beautiful the scene was.

"Husband, I heard from Master Mei that you weren't needed for the Artifact Refining this time. So why didn't you stay with us?" Zi Rong said, teasing Lei Jin a little.

"Because you all didn't want me to be around for at least a month. Something about making it easier for your search. Or am I mistaken?" Lei Jin said, caressing Zi Rong's face to tease her back just a little.
