The Battle of Black Prison Territory (3)

With the panicked sound of the order coming directly from the Territory Lord in command, the Ink Clan's forces hastily began their… retreat? Though from any halfway decent child's perspective… it was clear… The Ink Clan was fleeing in terror. Some had even begun fleeing before the order. Hearing the name of the Array combined with the chill they got when the Array's light could be seen… there wasn't really a need for an order. However, like every man is different from the next, so too are the Ink Clan.

"Don't turn and hide! They are cowering behind this light show! It can't possibly do anything to my Ink Clan!" A Royal Lord ordered, appearing from among the ranks of the Ink Clan's forces. He released a controlling and commanding Aura to turn his Clan around.

The brilliant light began to burn bright and began forming a shield around the Human Race. And the Ink Clan began laughing, some in embarrassment and some in amusement.

"Ahahaha! What do these stupid Livestock think they are doing!" An Ink Clan roared with laughter and insulting the Human Race.

"Their naming sense is so off. They should take some advice from my Ink Clan! They can pay with their flesh!" Another said.

The Ink Clan resumed their approach and tried to continue attacking. Eventually having a vast majority of their army surrounding the array and attacking with powerful attacks. Their morale was quite high thus blinding their minds.

"You idiots were running away from a shield!" The Royal Lord grumbled after the situation seemingly went in their favor. "Now look at this. Once we destroy the shield the odds of victory will be in our favor. Even that bastard Lei Jin is dead now." He continued, laughing.

"Sir Royal Lord, I'm afraid the danger may not yet be over. While they may be livestock for us to eat. They do have some good ideas and a naming sense that remains accurate. Not once have I seen anything be named inaccurately. And as for that one freakish lamb… why have the other Royal Lords not come to lend a hand? I fear that Lei Jin may not be so easy to kill." The Territory Lord said, nervously.

"Humph! The others wouldn't fail in dealing with that lamb! They are probably just resting since the situation here isn't dire. Don't say another word about that matter or I'll kill you for talking back! Our focus should…" The Royal Lord berated the Territory Lord.

The sound of drums and chants began to ring out through the void. They sent a chill down the spines of the Ink Clan's Royal Lord and Territory Lords that were watching from the rear. A radial pulse swept through the void. As if announcing the coming of something grand… something mighty. The Array Light began fluctuating…

"RETREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALL FORCES RETREAT AT O… nce…" The Royal Lord ordered in a panic.

"HA! It's too late! Annihilate the despicable and putrid! The evil and the vile! Release the Array!" The Supreme Elders chanted in unison.

What followed was a wall of a brilliant white light that seemed to touch upon the very essence of the original Dao. It proceeded to wash over the void claiming the lives of the Ink Clan soldiers. Even wiping out the Ink Force left behind. The Ink clan who survived only did so because they hadn't taken a full blow from Array's attack. Though they survived they weren't in great shape. Yang Kai ended up falling to lay down on his back immediately after.

"Ahahaha! The Array works! It just takes a bit of effort to start. But it works! That Young Pillar is a Genius! And of course Void Land's Master is as well. Excellent job in helping the array. I doubt it would have worked this good without your profound and mighty Daos!" A Supreme Elder said, to an absolutely exhausted Yang Kai.

"I appreciate the praise from the Supreme Elder! However, I'd appreciate a recovery pill more. I'm quite exhausted, you see. I can't move a muscle." Yang Kai chuckled. "Ah.. ow… it hurts to laugh" He continued.

"Ahahaha, I assume you are. That was a lot of world force you used. Though thanks to that the Ink Clan Army has suffered enormous casualties. You deserve a rest for this effort! You may use the chambers provided. I'm sure you'll need it for… activities." Liang Changming laughed happily.

Su Yan, Xia Ning Chang, Shang Qing Luo, Xue Yue, Zhu Qing, Ji Yao, Yu Ru Meng, Qu Hua Chang and Tao Ling Wan all ran over and picked Yang Kai up.

"Thank you, seniors. We won't let this chance go to waste." Yu Ru Meng said, trying to hide the desire in her voice. Even though it was clear on her face, as was the case with the other 8 wives.

"Don't run the man too ragged you hear. He might never want to do anything again if you go too hard." Azure Heart chuckled, tossing a ring of healing pills over to Yu Ru Meng.

Yu Ru Meng inspected the ring and her eyes lit up even more. "Old Ancestor speaks true, but Old Ancestor shouldn't worry. I know when to stop." She said before leaving with Yang Kai and the other wives.

"Hey stop, I need to heal. I have to go and fight more. You can't do this! I must go fight more." Yang Kai said frantically and embarrassed. "Brother Lei Jin is still fighting and I want to see his victory first!" He said, quickly finding a reasonable excuse.

"AH! Damn, Husband is right. Big Sister, we also would gain quite a lot from watching the outcome of Brother Lei Jin's fight. Especially if he manages to…" Su Yan said, stopping before she revealed too much.

"How do you know about that, miss Su Yan?" Azure Heart asked, as she had only known because she had been told directly.

"Oh, so Old Ancestor knows? I'm afraid I can't say what it is, but I can say that Brother Lei Jin told us through our children. There are three marriages between our families now. It is only natural to tell each other things." Su Yan replied with a giggle and a smile.
