Return To Cultivate

~~Somewhere in the Void~~

Lei Jin, Gu Pan and Ruo Xi appeared. It was here at this place Lei Jin could get eyes on everything that was happening. He was making sure that the Human Race's condition was accurate.

"Husband, why do you want to come here? Aren't you able to sense all of the things from anywhere?" Gu Pan asked.

"Of course I could always trust my strength. But in the battle ahead I can't have any reservations. So even something as simple as this, must be verified. And it seems like there aren't any discrepancies. Which is good." Lei Jin said, and gave Gu Pan an impassioned kiss.

"Husband is being quite thorough. You don't want your children to suffer the same fate you had to." Ruo Xi said, laying her head on Lei Jin's shoulder.

"It's because of that trauma I don't wish it on anyone else. But I am unfortunately forced to have my Human Race bear this burden. If I was strong enough I would take care of it myself. However… I know better than anyone my own strength. And I don't think it would be possible to handle dealing with the Ink Clan on my own. Dealing with the problem that way presents a clear danger to me. Who's to say I won't be turned on? I've noticed some similarities between my strength and the Ink Force… I can influence the hearts and minds of everyone with just a few simple words. And even help them break the bounds of their small universe." Lei Jin explained, going off into his worries.

"You are not like Ink! Perish the thought! You are a kind and loving husband. A doting father. And a genius master. A pillar of the Human Race and our friends the Ancient Divine Spirits." Gu Pan quickly scolded.

"That's right! Ink is the personification of evil. And Husband is a truly righteous man. You helped the Human Race to unite and fight the common enemy. I promise there isn't a person who thinks you are evil in any way. Instead they are thankful you gave them a much easier time for their love to bear fruit. Even the children call you the Great Papa out of respect." Ruo Xi scolded Lei Jin, along with her sister Gu Pan.

"I know, I know. It was a thought I had just now. The Ink Clan is a despicable existence. And I will destroy the source of it. But while I handle him I'll need this army to deal with the influx of the Ink Clan that will undoubtedly be there. Until that day comes I will watch over my charge and protect them, while giving them a good place to practice their Dao. Only time will tell if they grow strong enough to survive the battles ahead." Lei Jin sighed, knowing that everything rode on his shoulders.

"Everything will be fine. The Human Race has never been stronger than it is today. And we still have just under 400 years before we have to leave." Ruo Xi said.

"I do hope you're right. But let's make sure that if a couple marries and has a child, if either of them perish the survivor must do all that's in their power to make it home alive. I refuse to see a child grow up with a parent. It is not a good thing. A parents' love for their child is irreplaceable." Lei Jin said, kissing Ruo Xi.

"What do we do if both parents are killed in the battle?" Gu Pan asked, bringing in the realist question, the one Lei Jin needed to answer.

"Then we will protect their child by treating them like one of our own. For that is all I can think of doing in this case." Lei Jin answered solemnly.

"Just the answer I would expect from my husband. Us wives already thought that might be the case. And we are willing to hug them like our own. We all love children anyways. So what's the harm in bringing in a few more if the situation calls for it." Gu Pan smiled.

"That's right, doting on them will be no different. But even still it would be best for them if they had their own parents to look after them." Ruo Xi said.

"It's alright, let's head back to the room now and let the people grow stronger. We can indulge in ourselves for some time. And I'll let the four of them know to come see their mothers when the time comes. I Xiao Ling and Nether Glimmer are both rather excited to bond with their mothers. And even Burning Shine, while he hides it behind his flushed cheeks he also craves a mothers bonding." Lei Jin smiled, and the three of them vanished.

~~In the Master Room~~

Lei Jin and his Wives appeared in the room. The others had arrived only a few moments prior. And they brought with them several women meant as midwives.

"Husband! While we were out there were some nice women who volunteered to be our midwives. We decided to bring them back now just in case. Perhaps you would be willing to let them stay here and cultivate as a reward?" Qing Ning said, as soon as Lei Jin appeared.

"Hmm… you either need to have them swear not to say anything about what you all like to do or Just, not do what you normally do." Lei Jin whispered, putting a hand to his chin.

"Don't worry we have discussed this already. And we agreed to not let our breasts hang out this time." Qing Ning whispered in reply.

"I see no problem with this arrangement. Ladies feel free to cultivate, but don't go too far. Not many can bear my full aura for very long." Lei Jin instructed, and then floated to the center of the room in the lotus position.

"Thank you Pillar Lei Jin! We won't forget the kindness you have shown us." The 40 or so ladies said and also got into the lotus position.

Lei Jin Activated his Aura finally being able to stop suppressing it for the others sake. The Human Race would still need more time with the True Rainbows before they could stand in his un-suppressed presence.
